Minnesota under a new venue looking to a postseason spot

Allianz Field is one majestic venue that the Minnesota United will call home starting this 2019. Still for manager, Adrien Heath he will have a lot of pressure to make this squad entering into its third year to make it to the grand fete of the postseason.

For a squad that has not made anything that we can call a big impact in the transfers market.  So far, the team has brought a couple of goalkeepers, two defenders and two midfielders to reinforce some areas of much need in their initial eleven.

With one of their most influencing signings in Jan Gregus from FC Copenhagen and noticing from waivers and signing, the likes of former Seattle Sounders former midfield whiz Osvaldo Alonso.

The Loons are hoping to a turnaround for the better with these two experienced players as their experience and skills will come in handy for manager Heath strategies and game plans he has in mind to put in display a prolific campaign.

Still the way his squad is to compete in this upcoming edition is one serious one, after all of the squads in the Western Conference as well in the league in general the way these have been building armadas in their squads.

That’s is the case of boosting this squad determination and ambitions in order to be a competitive entity in the course of this campaign, the return of many of its veterans as well letting go some players not in the squad plans.

Another area already taken care is the goalkeeper positon which the Loons had some problems in spite of having veteran Bobby Shuttleworth under its arches. In addition, of Shuttleworth the squad has added the likes of experienced Reading keeper Vito Mannone on loan along with Generation Adidas draftee Dayne St. Clair.

The competition for sure will increase of who will be the upcoming starting goalkeeper in the Loons starting eleven. The arrivals of two new defenders one free and the other via trade. The arrivals of Ike Opara and Roman Metanire to boost this club feeble defense are somehow an aide to their problems.

In their preseason, the Loons are looking forward to make a series of much needed improvements and looking forward to a notable campaign that can earn them their first trip to the grand fete of the postseason.

With the club in its first two years finishing in 2017 in ninth place and last year in tenth place the outlook for this squad with its new additions, they for sure can make the mark and deliver a wondrous campaign in the end.

For its sporting director, seeing the experience along the newcomers is somehow elemental for this club to make the big jump in what seems to be another all-around contest in Major League Soccer after many squads armed with top-notch players.

Prediction a successful campaign can see the Minnesota United side maybe doing a run to sixth spot but this will be with a decorous run in the course of their campaign but doubtful in the end a finish of eight places will be on hand.
