The Fire looking for a prominent campaign

As manager Veljko Paunovic entering into his fourth campaign at the helm of the Chicago Fire, the man in his time at the Windy City has managed the Men in Red to just one appearance in the postseason.

However the Fire directives have been hard at work in assembling an all-around contender and return this squad back to its  winning ways, after all this squad has the ideal initial eleven and roster to put on the a field a total winner.

Still with a club, that has in its ranks a leader and a prominent player in Bastian Schweinsteiger who last campaign missed some matches on the DL but in this coming edition, he is ready to put in display the game we are accustomed to see from him.

So far,  in the preseason the Fire as told before they have getting the ideal players to build that contender manager Paunovic is looking for as well make the Fire that winner its supporters are looking to see back the return of those lost glory days.

With a number of notable players that for sure their man at the helm is, looking forward to compete in that always contends Eastern Conference; the Fire has assembled a top-notch squad and a contender as well.

The areas of much focus the Fire has built on were the midfield with four player’s two defenders a goalkeeper and a forward this to substitute the likes of many players that left the squad via trades or waived after not considered for this upcoming campaign.

As their bomb, signing was the arrival of polish midfielder Przemyslaw Frankowski from Poland league Jagiellonia Byalistok the idea is to complement the midfield work with Schweinsteiger along with another newcomer Armando Moreno from Red Bulls.

Adding the likes Cristian Moreno and Jeremy Gutjahr this latter one signed as a Homegrown Player adding a couple of defenders in Marcelo from Sporting Crystal and another Homegrown Player in a promise like Andre Reynolds.

Complementing the new arrivals are goalkeeper David Ousted coming from Waivers but the experience this lad has will make a world of difference for the Fire, plus a trade from the Union for forward Fabian Hebers.

Moving forward with the current roster and returning players as well newcomers the aims of manager Paunovic is the identification these players in the field and adjust immediately to his strategies and game plan to make it a successful one.

In the end the competition the Chicago Fire will have in what will be another edition with a contested run to the top six spots of the postseason and cutting the game calendar short for sure can give the Men in Red a boost for the better.

Prediction: A possible run for sixth place that awards the last position into the playoffs but if injuries make their mark in the majority of its notable starters I doubt this squad can stop it postseason drought.
