Vancouver expecting a lot under Marc Dos Santos


A new era is to start in Vancouver BC, which promises to bring a new type of excitement to its Vancouver Whitecaps football club. As manager Marc Dos Santos, a man with an impressive CV under his arms is to make of these Caps an all-around contender. 

This time they got their man to make this squad not only a contender but also a total winner and a serious candidate to contend in the postseason and beyond. For a squad in need of display their game and step up more of its competitive touch, this time is the charm under manager Dos Santos.   

So far, under manager Dos Santos the Caps directives the club has been hard at work getting the players that this club needs to front in what seems a much-contested campaign. As many of this squad rivals in the Western Conference making their squads a total armada. These Caps are ready to rock the living foundations of Major League Soccer and their conference.

Currently the number of players that left BC Place numbers 21 but the arrival of 17 notable players via trade and via free agency. The club outlook is looking somehow positive in spite of not getting big name players. 

The club has been on the task of incorporating players in multiple positions to boost this club game as come opening day the league starts. Under the careful attention to detail by manager Dos Santos, the Caps shopping spree linked with several European entities. 

By combining defenders and midfielders, the club hopes to boost its game. As defense wins games, uplifting this area of much for the Caps these newcomers seen like the ideal players manager Dos Santos needs. 

With Derek Cornelius- Javor Ivanjica, Jasser Khmiri- Stade Tunisien, Erik Godoy- CA Colon, Scott Sutter- free agency adding the likes of two promising goalkeepers via trade in Zac MacMath from Colorado and Maxime Crepeau- MontrĂ©al. 

Another are to improve is the midfield to step up the creativity in the attack as well solidify the defense in this area. With newcomers from European leagues the Whitecaps have purchase several players that for sure can deliver. 

The arrival of Lucas Venuto- Austria Wien, Lass Bangoura- Rayo Vallecano, Jon Enrice- Albacete, Victor Giro- trade from Orlando and Hwang in Beon, in addition of adding three forwards. The attack of the Caps will be a spectacular one with all of these newcomers coming to BC Place. 

As the additions of Joaquin Ardaiz- FC Chiasso, the return of Freddy Montero for free and promoting a prospect in Theo Bair as a Homegrown Player. This gives you the perspective of seeing the attacking game and its performances upgraded for the best. 

In the end, the arrival of Marc Dos Santos will uplift this squad game as well its rivalry with its Cascadia foes, especially against the Portland Timbers.  

In the end a surging Caps will be the highlight of this campaign as well seeing a possible run not only to the league postseason but also to maybe its final that is something see in this 2019 edition.
