Bruce Arena’s Revolution looking to finally seize that elusive league title

For manager Bruce Arena becoming the eleventh manager in the Revolution history and for the most winningest of Bosses in Major League Soccer, for this club seen as the pioneer in this association and denied several times the league title.

As this club directives depositing their trust in Bruce Arena, that somehow the man has won the league trophy with two squads, DC United and Los Angeles Galaxy, this man would like to end the curse of the league finals for the Revs.

A team that in five trips to the league finals in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2014, the arrival of Arena hopefully can end the Revs jinx in the finals with the club first-ever MLS trophy and this club skid in the finals.

Still, the outlook of another prime campaign back in Foxboro is somehow one mighty enterprise for Bruce Arena and company, but the man has most of its last season squad coming in its majority and with new faces.

So far, the return of its Talisman player in Argentinian forward Gustavo Bo, midfielders in Colombian Luis Caicedo and Spanish Carles Gil and Central African Republic Wilfred Zahibo is the base manager Arena is counting for another run to the postseason.

In the transfers market, the Revolution has gone seriously shopping for experienced players that can make the difference in Arena’s project and put in one seriously competitive entity in the course of this upcoming 2020 season.

Last season the Revs made it into the Eastern Conference playoffs as a seventh-place seed after a three-year absence and despite the feat these were no match and eliminated in the first round by the defending champions Atlanta United.

The club has embarked in new arrivals in defender Seth Sinovic from SKC, defender Aleksander Buttner, DP forward Adam Buksa from MKS Pogoń Szczecin to reinforce the club ranks.

However, the club has set its sights in signing several potential players as Home Grown, with defender Kelyn Rowe, goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell, midfielder Isaac Angking, Scott Caldwell, Justin Rennicks and Generation Adidas defender Henry Kessler.

The club is looking ahead in its academy and draft prospects to one day make it into the club ranks and impact as starters, something manager Bruce Arena is looking forward to these hopefuls to develop their skills.

Still, the competition in the Eastern Conference is very contested and this season will not be an exception for all its thirteen teams vying for a spot among the top seven and making it into the promised land of the postseason.

In the end for manager Arena, the challenges will abound and maybe a player or two more to reinforce his Revs will be as the order of business for this club directives, for now,
I can see New England with an eight-place finish.

Nothing is written up for any of the squad’s in the East like this site for sure can score the big prize with a seventh-place finish and maybe do some serious damage in the postseason and advance to the league finals and finally, win it all!
