Orlando City under Oscar Pareja looking for their first postseason run

Ever since their inception in Major League Soccer in 2015, the Lions have not made it into the postseason after delivering mediocre campaigns that have seen a parade of five managers, not finding the winning formula.

As they state there’s no bad sixth and with Oscar Pareja, the SC is looking forward too many prolific seasons under the man that comes with an impressive CV from his days in FC Dallas and Tijuana Xolos.

For the former FC Dallas manager that brought a Supporters Shield and a US Open Cup back in 2016 but as always falling short of reaching the finals after losing in multiple times in the Western Conference finals.

As the Colombian after a stint in Liga MX side Tijuana Xolos, the man left the club after a year st the helm of this border town club and returning to Major League Soccer with Orlando City looking to write a successful chapter in his tenure.

Every season the club directive is hard at work in reinforcing it in every single position and for this season they didn’t hold up at anything, it certainly looks like this team favors and entertains the idea of building this club with a number of Brazilian players.

So far, in the SuperDraft, the Lions came with five promising prospects as well with a number of trades these came with a total of five players that maybe one day will make an impact with Orlando.

For the SC selecting a couple of defenders in Nick O’ Callaghan and Jonathan Dean, forward Daryl Dyke. midfielder Joey de Zart and goalkeeper Austin Ariza, the Lions are looking ahead for this club's future.

Meanwhile, in the transfers market, these club directives have been hard at work in selecting the ideal players that can facilitate manager Pareja work as this club is looking like the MLS version of the Verde Amarelha due to the number of Brazilian players.

The arrivals of Argentine center back Rodrigo Schlegel on a loan from Racing Club Argentina, Colombian midfielder Andres Perea on loan from Atletico Nacional, Peruvian goalkeeper Pedro Gallese from Alianza Lima, Brazilians in midfielder Junior Urso and center back Antonio Carlos.

In addition to the club looking towards this club future, Orlando City SC signed a couple of Homegrown players in midfielders Jordan Bender and David Loera (HG) along with goalkeeper Mason Stajduhar.

Very well the club went into the task of re-signing other players ahead of another season full of challenges in defender Alex de John, midfielder Uri Rosell, and defender Ruan to multi-year contracts.
For Orlando City SC the club directives have performed their work in reinforcing this club in its most vulnerable areas in need, so what can we expect from the SC with a new manager no stranger to winning.

Somehow tells me that the Lions are possibly going to their first-ever postseason with the performances these may put on the field, still, anything can happen, and the club can fell victim of slumps with notable players injured or suspended.

In the end, I give the Lions a finish in eight places, but anything can happen with the competitor put on the field by Oscar Pareja that in the end, these may break their postseason malefice this 2020.
