With a one of a kind win
over the lads of Crystal Palace, Emirates Stadium lived an amazing afternoon of
Gunner style football, very well keeping a close chase of the first place held
by their cross town foes the Chelsea
Blues.
So far being within
nine points away from the league leaders, the Gunners are playing a magnificent
football and in a silent manner, they are poised to take over the top from the Pensioners.
For now, this start of the year match showed
off, how the Gunners potential and why this squad is in need of a league
shield, with their performances lately, despite sometimes not consistent the
number of wins, still the initiative is there.

One thing Arsene Wegner tenure
is very alive and solid, as he in every campaign sees the way to diminish the prospects
of going backwards with a very strong and consistent bench that can deliver when
needed.
With a match at
Emirates and playing, a Crystal Palace squad looking forward to end their skid
and showing off a new man at its helm in Sam Allardyce, trying to turn things
around for the Selhurst Boys and prevent them from descent.
This match was to dictate
the Gunners rules and these to headline their first win of the New Year and
start with the right foot, especially
with the chemistry shown by this squad initial eleven lately, that can make
things happen.

This was not over for
the Gunners as many attempts to defeat the posts of Wales utmost keeper Walter Hennessey, who
worked overtime to see his posts fell in what looked like a goal fest in the making by the locals.
At the end, the
Arsenal Gunners are poised to go into the league top and they are not doing it
with the aid of tabloids headliners or so, just in a calm and discrete way
these will make their move and surprise the heck of all of us.
Arsenal is moving on
up and after passing their cross-town foes the Spurs, now their ultimate of
goals is to get into the league overall lead and try to bring back those lost glories
into Emirates, they are on a silent mission.
