Once again, the magic of Anfield did it!

How sweet it is the thrill of victory at home, where it counts, as the Liverpool Reds put on a show once again at Anfield. The Liverpool Boys did another major feat to defeat a momentum stricken Villarreal, confident to net its pass easily to the finals of the Europa League.

Coming to this side of Merseyside and with a minimum lead of one goal, the Yellow Submarine Boss knew of the many challenges his initial eleven was to encounter throughout the whole ninety minutes at the always-frantic Kop.

As the Yellow Submarine coming with a 1-0 lead obtained at their home in El Madrigal Stadium, the pupils of Manager Marcelino Garcia were confident of a positive outcome that could produce an all-around upset at Liverpool.

After juggling with a few moves in his starting eleven, the visiting manager thought of his moves as golden and they could provoke some disarray, neutralizing the Reds attack cold, and maintain his one goal lead and with the possibilities of adding a few more.

The misfortunes for the Spaniard were a harsh reality check, because when Jürgen Kloop Boys play at home in this type of competitions, nothing will stop them soon they start something going.

As the energy in Anfield stands are somehow, magical for the Liverpool 11 as well the memories of the Borussia resurgence were still alive in the minds of many of Liverpool faithful and never doubting of their squad.

Alongside of Manager Kloop all around success since his arrival at the Kop, of lifting his player’s confidence as in todays match many were witness to how an inspired Daniel Sturridge showed off his mettle as a top-notch player.

Considered as the culprit and showing off his class a top player, his first play between visiting defender Soriano and his goalie Areola to net the first of three goals of the Reds. In the second half, we had more of the Sturridge show, scoring the second goal in the 63 minute.

To close on a brighter note Daniel Sturridge created that play where Adam Lallana was to put the icing in the cake and score the third and definite goal to seal the deal for the locals. Finally this player with his performance really uplifted his spirits and despite always being in the eye of the hurricane for his controversies.

One thing many saw in Sturridge his definition and valor united to his talents that contributed for his club once again a date with destiny to play in their 12th European final. To be played on May 18 at St. Jakub- Park Stadium in Basel Switzerland against another Spanish club no stranger to this competitions and defending UEFA champion from last editions in Sevilla FC.

It will not come easy for Liverpool at Basel but nothing is impossible and the twelve men in the Reds followers are present and vocal. These to lift their club to another European glory as well for Jürgen Kloop are first of many trophies for the German Boss under the helm of this club.

I do believe that magic is in the air at Anfield, since the arrival of Kloop as this club Manager, the Kop is becoming a hard place for many squads to play and today put in evidence the all-around support of these fans that catapulted their Boys.

Into one of Europe’s most important event in football, to seek once again that trophy to adorn the halls at Anfield as well start a new winning era in Merseyside, for now one step at a time for the Liverpool boys.
