Yes, the devil himself
is coming to the Theater of Dreams, as I read an exclusive set of news taken
from an English tabloid on the eve of Manu FA Cup accomplishment. Despite Current
Manager Louis Van Gaal act of netting a shield after a three-year drought, at
the end United front office decided for the Dutch finale.
As the folks back at
Trafford wanted more dynamism to this club after the fracas of David Moyes and
later netting the Dutch boss to a multiyear deal and under an impressive CV with
an impressive honors list during his stints in Barcelona, Ajax and Bayern
Munich.
Still his two years of
United under Van Gaal direction many negatives were exposed , as his game once
was touted as Boring, Boring United, a series of odd results and elimination in
internal competitions by championship clubs and not so elite in Premiership. Adding
to the woes the Champions and UEFA Cups elimination, especially in the later
one that saw their luck fade with an upsetting exit by a low-key Nordic club.
For the way Van Gaal expressed
himself in the post-match interview, hinting of his apparent exit but a glorious
one, by adding another major trophy to his collection as his of netting one with every squad he has managed.
With United the FA Cup was one of his major trophies versus the major ones
delivered at Camp Nou, Allianz and Amsterdam Arena.
As good as it sounds,
that’s football a bit cruel and unjust in the eyes of some by not a commanding
majority that wanted him out of the halls of Old Trafford and just with Glazer Brothers
did bring in a new man to add some new dynamic. That is football you never
known when will it hit you.
By asking them if Van
Gaal would deliver Champions or UEFA as well A Capitol One Cup will he would kept
his job, a very small probability of his chances hindering a decision by his
employers, at the end he was starting to turn things for the best at United.
Getting back to this
new suitor to take over the helm at Old Trafford and try his best to restore
this club in the spotlights of high definition European competitions, League shields
and tournaments.
As Jose Mourinho impressive
CV under his arm during his stint in AC Milan, Real Madrid, Porto and most all
Chelsea. With each one of these squads he managed in the past, he has delivered
important honors. Now a new chapter in his career will begin at Manchester
United seen as a very controversial and strange move.
One thing the front
office at United are aware is to win and make front to their cross-town rivals
Manchester City with another stellar man at their helm in Pep Guardiola,
looking up to those one of a kind Manchester Derbies filled with all around passion.
I see personally, as
a pact with the devil as the arrival of Mourinho is something never imaginable
of this man taking over the managerial spot from United and trying his best to
eclipse or better with his work the legacy left by both Sir Matt Busby and Alex
Ferguson.
For Mourinho taking
over at United he will inherit a great squad composed by Van Gaal, where youth
is the order of the day and seeing a young Marcus Rashdford and Tim Fosu-
Mensah, as the potential for this club future and a top of the line academy.
After all seeing in this
match the many needs of this squad will be a priority for him to reinforce them
as names of the likes of Zlatan Ibramovic in rumors of him coming to Trafford
are very strong, the need of a winger, orchestrating midfielder and a central
defender will be top task.
It is here when the
former Chelsea skipper will take over the reins and start his new era at the
Theater of Dreams where he will try his best to inscribe his own chronicles and
develop a long-lasting legacy in this club rich glory filled history.
They made a pact with
the devils himself and with hopes of him delivering that long lost and spectacular
game this club has been known for throughout the year as well restore its
rightful spot among the great ones of Europe once again. Very well becoming a
force not to mess with at Premiership where too the front offices of the Red
Devils want to restore this squad as an overall contender.
