Once again the much
awaited of Derbies between cross-town foes Manchester Derby and Manchester City,
were to play another edition of this much disputed and contested of rivalries
in Premiership.

As the tale of the
tape showed an even matchup between these two initial elevens, whenever these
meet we are about to see sparks fly in the field from both squads looking
forward to get the best of one another.
In addition, this edition
saw how Premiership race to the title is being headline by the Manchester
squads, and with the Citizens looking unstoppable and consolidating so far in these
stages as the possible league champions.
Since the initial whistle
both squad played a very disputed and ambitious game to the joy of booth squads
followers in a sold out Old Trafford seeing how the visiting Sky Blues were
taking aim at the posts of David De Gea.
Still don’t let the
City keeper Ederson making his debut in this Derby fool you of not having a
dandy of a day as many times the locals had the balls and well taking advantage
of some of his defenders mislead by the pressure exercised from the United
chaps.
In the minute 43 when
David Silva took matter into his own hand and score the first goals awakening a
whole section filled with Man City supporters going into a frenzy after seeing their
Boys opening up the score to a silent theater of Dreams.
Very well taking the lead
that just lasted a couple of minutes when a nice one two punch started by Marcos
Rojo and well taken by Marcus Rashford and beating Ederson for the draw in the
47 minute with added injury time.
Especially when you
have the likes of Romelu Lukaku defending and him being the responsible of giving
away in what could been two prevented goals for United that the visiting
Citizens exposed their weakness in its defense.
Has this win not only
assured City at the top of the overall league table but as well seeing their all-around
authority in the field whenever these are behind or tied up in the scoreboard as
the rally these put on as unstoppable.

At the end Manchester
City is for real and despite their loss in midweek in Champions opposite to
United win, many thought that the Citizens were to surrendered to the likes of
the Red Devils having the advantage of playing at home.
For Pep seeing a fighting and well placed and initiative prone in his starting lineup that
seal the deal when Nicolas Ottamendi in the 54 put the final score with a spectacular fashion
for the final score of 2-1.
