Avaya Stadium will vibrate
this campaign with its Earthquakes, after a failed finish last campaign and
not seizing a spot into the Western Conference Postseason.
This 2017 will be one
that the Silicon Valley Boys who will put on a display a tough and resilient
football towards any of its foes in both conferences and try their best to
erase that negative streak of not making it into the postseason.
Still for Manager
Dominik Kinnear going into his second year at the helm of the Quakes, by far he
has seen many improvements and being excited of this 2017 campaign after a
series of moves in the Quakes front office and the arrival of new players.
Among one of those
moves was the arrival of a new General Manager to lead the restructuring of this
squad into an all-around contender in this and many other campaigns to come,
with former AS Roma technical staff specialist.
The San Jose squad
will have a great right man to lead and build a competitor with their new GM
Jesse Fioranelli who comes with an impressive CV under his sleeves after
overseeing player development and scouting in Seria A squads.

As one of his first
order of the day was to assemble top of the line players in order to compete
and assure last campaign ones in order to start the San Jose transformations into
one of the most competitive squads of MLS.
Another major goal
for GM Fioranelli will be the full development of the Quakes Academy prospects
to become a part of this club as well be producer top notch talent to sell to other
clubs in MLS and abroad.

Another plus for this squad was the arrival of
new blood and in its majority from several European squads and with plenty of experience
that will contribute to this club success in this campaign.
With the arrival of Albanian
midfielder Jahmir Hyka from FC Luzern, forward Dutch Danny Hoesen- FC Groningen,
defender and midfielder German Florian Jungwirth- SV Darmstad 98, Forward in Costa
Rican Marcos Ureña-Brondy LF, and Defender from Panama Harold Cummings-LD
Alajuelense.

Shows off the San
Jose squad commitment to their youth and its development in already netting a
spot in the big club and now the rest is up to them to impress their Boss
Dominick Kinnear in getting a starting position in this campaign.
To conclude this campaign,
the San Jose Earthquakes top Brass did not hesitated to make major changes from
Gm, Assistant Manager and new players, seeing a proof of this club commitment to
distinction.
Very well, make this
club returns to its lost grandeur and this 2017 will be the year to start this revolution
for this Silicon Valley based squad, if everything falls as expected this squad
can net the last spot in the Western Conference postseason.
