Forget that FA loss,
as Jose Mourinho got the best of his former squad and now foes in the London Boys
Chelsea Blues, with a brilliant 2-0 win and playing the role of spoilers in the
race for the league shield.

Now these they have to
defend what they started as with this loss, the title race begins a new chapter
with a four-point lead over a hardened and hard pushing Tottenham Spurs closing
the gap.
As of today’s match
saw how Mourino and his bunch were prepared to mount a display of pure and
genuine football Mou style and seeing ow this genius of the sidelines has made
a name for himself after his squad did a re pass over their arch-rivals.
In this match, the
Portuguese showed off a different lineup as well sending a very bold formation
in a 3-5-2 with Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford in the frontal attack instead
of Ibramovic, with the Swede being in the bench.
For Antonio Conte
Blues sporting a 3-4-2-1 formation with a lone Diego Costa in the front and accompanied
by Chelsea two other strikers in Pedro and Eden Hazard to complement the attack.
However, the tables turn
to be in favor of the local Trafford Boys, who put in display a one of a kind
match and not allowing the push of the visiting, London Boys growing to a point
of comfort, where they are the most invincible.
Not today as the Red
Devils supported by a sold out Theater of Dreams crowd, that in no moment went
silent and was all frenzied in the entirety of this match and in disbelief of
seeing their side victimize the soon to be champions.
Still these have to battle against squads of
the likes of Southampton, Watford and Boro at home and with away matches against
Everton and West Brom Albion, the Pensioners can seal the deal with positive
results.
Nothing written for Conte
and his men as any of these entities can play the role of spoiler at the end,
as the way the Red Devils play them today and with a result not so favorable
for them.

Putting a dent in the
Blues championship hopes with scores from Marcus Rashford in the 7 minute and
Ander Herrera in the 49, were enough to
stop the momentum the Blues had in the campaign and before coming to this match.
At the end the Red Devils
despite the win, these did not had a field day with an attacking Chelsea frontal
attack in Costa and company trying to make this match a contest and their
efforts going in vain for the loss.
Kudos to Marcos Rojo,
Erick Bailly and Matteo Darmian who became a buffer to the push of the visiting
league leaders attempts to beat the posts defended heroically by David De Gea
who rose to the occasion with a clean sheet.
