Not this time Sunderland, your luck ran out

Indeed, this time the Black Cats luck ran out as for a cat nine lives, this time will not be a miraculous run that will save this Tyne – Daly club of going down to the ranks of the Championship league.

Not like other campaigns when these, always found the ideal and opportune moment to make their moves as a good hunter, the Sunderland bunch will not be able to do anything to stay put in another campaign in the ranks of Premiership.

This time they will not see the light of another campaign.

I will miss the likes of the AFC Sunderland next campaign but maybe with a little luck, these will be back after if this club front office decides to give this squad a total shakedown and reinforce its areas of much need to make a contender in the lower tier.

Very well, see them back in the top circuit next campaign with more determination and hunger to make a strong stand and see their return in a flash to Premiership.

With seven matches left in the campaign and a contested month of April where every squad makes their last efforts to make a strong finish, the Sunderland squad is ready to pack their bags and get ready for their new adventure.

Still one thing for sure these club many are familiar with it is their stamina and all around fighting spirit.

However, the need of sacking current Manager David Moyes from Tyne- Wear is a must and start fresh with a new man that has an ambitious plan and blueprint that can be applied immediately to this club benefit.

In addition, that this man can be focusing in making the club soon he’s hired to turn it around and getting it promoted back to Premiership and alter make it a total contender looking forward off course for the league shield but if not go for the European spots.

Another plus of this squad is its academy with many prospects that can make an impact in the near future and become more focus in making this squad a contender and not threatening reporters to slap them in the face.

As the new club Boss, for sure he has to impose pride in this club game and players like to become once again the fighter we are all accustomed to see.

This club by far has been dependent on Jermaine Defoe this chap making an extra human effort to turn things around for the best at the Stadium of Light with no success and despite some matches won thanks to his game winning plays.

Still this is a team effort and not a one-man show as many have become dependent in this veteran.

So far the Black Cats are in sole possession of last spot with just 20 points and eight points clear of relegation, still the odds of these coming out successful this time is looking very bleak if not impossible.

With every match, these play and the remaining ones, if these do not show any resolve to turn things around and aided by some results by their closest foes in Boro and Swansea suddenly hitting a snag.

Alongside Hull City sudden revival, for them it is a maybe and possibility of seeing some of these squads going in the cracks and with a winning streak till the end, there can be a ray of hope or better a light at the end of the tunnel.

At this point, I doubt of this squad salvation and its faithful and amazing followers will have to settle for next campaign seeing their Black Cats in the ranks of the first division known to many as the Championship League.

Unfortunately, for the AFC Sunderland squad, their luck ran out this time.
