There’s always next year for Jurgen Kloop and his Liverpool Boys

The Liverpool chaps never walk alone at always sold out Anfield Stadium; by playing as locals, they could not capitalize in their quest of sealing their permanency among the top four in the overall table.

Those spots considered of netting a Champions League spot after the end of the campaign but with today hurtful loss, their chances are looking a bit slim with both Manchester squads gaining on them.

With 66 points in fourth place and City with 64 points and United with 63, their advantage will be by praying that possible draw between these two Manchester titans- resuming their postponed match to this week in the Derby that bears the city name.

Still this result really hurts the Liverpool bunch and mainly their Manager Jürgen Kloop who does not seem to be amazed by the odd results in what seemed to be a sort of easy matches and affected them in the race to the top.

Alongside a series of results in the beginning of the second half that the Reds not capitalizing to the point of not being atop the league instead of the Chelsea Blues nearing to another crown, despite their recent troubles.

Today’s match at Anfield should been a win and with the foe in front- Kloop and his bunch became a bit relaxed after that early goal by Phillipe Couthino and seeing a continuance in their game by pressing more on the Londoners side to increase the goal count.

As the saying states, there is always next year and for sure this Merseyside club will have to open up its wallet to get the necessary and efficient players to uplift this squad and this time became a total contender from start to finish of a Premiership campaign.

Defensively and offensively, this squad needs to get the ideal players to fulfill and work around Kloop’s blueprint for a successful campaign like that one when his contemporary Brendan Rodgers put this club on the brink of a Barclays Shield.

However one thing for sure this club needs to be more consistent in its matches and never underestimate, their rivals as the way the Reds did with a high flying Crystal Palace, this time they did not face off an Everton or WBA.

As the way they did play the Merseyside Derby with such a passion and high spirits, this time they flunk in this match despite their opening lead that later they surrendered before halftime and in the second half they let go definitely.

Especially when your squad dominates good part of the game stats with a dominant 72.3 percentage of possession versus 27 of the visitors and out shooting them 2 to 1, we have a problem and these needs to get a solution by the German.

In addition, the problems will persist for the Merseyside Boys in the remaining matches of this campaign whomever they face off and in next campaign, its followers await the fate of their squad depending on the preseason moves.

At the end, another loss considered vital and demolishing for a squad looking forward and making it its top priority of occupying the league top as well winning it, being the initial aim by this club since they brought the likes of Jürgen Kloop to Anfield.

With matches left against Watford and West Ham away and Southampton and Middleborough at home, these will define the position of the Reds at the end and until next campaign to see if this time they will make a more firm stand.
