Burnley delivers mayhem to West Ham

West Ham 0, Burnley 3
London Stadium

Nothing is impossible for the lads of Burnley in this campaign. With Chris Woods’s second half substitution for the Clarets, that the end this move paid off for Sean Dyche and company, sealing a wondrous win at London Stadium.

So far, in this campaign the Clarets are delivering an amazing campaign and standing solidly in seventh place trailing sixth spot holder Arsenal by just two points.

With a clean sheet and amazing defending by the visiting Clarets their determination and one of a kind game displayed all afternoon long, was enough to seal the deal despite the early intents of the locals of opening the score.

As the Hammers seeing their efforts going in vain and with shoots from Manuel Lanzini, Marko Arnautovic and Michael Antonio, the Hammers were looking invincible and looking like sure winners.

Still after a halftime ending with zero goals, the visiting Clarets went on the task of making some noise and via Ashley Barnes with a strike that opened the score and exposing the Hammers feeble defending in the second half.

As the Hammers troubled manager David Moyes looking a bit desperate, he made some moves defensively by substituting goalkeepers in Joe Hart as the starter over Spaniard Adrian in a not so smart move by the Scotsman.

In addition, the wave of results lately displayed by the Irons, have put a lot of pressure in Moyes and company that in five matches the Londoners have just won one match and dropping four matches.

After seeing, a sudden revival suddenly staged by the Academy of Football, after many of this club faithful expressing their doubts over this troubled manager taking over the helm after his not so illustrious records.

Returning to the match as previously mentioned  all the right moves made by Sean Dyche with New Zealander Chris Woods coming in for Jeff Hendricks in the 61 and later Sam Vokes for Ashley Barnes in the 89.

For Burnley manager Sean Dyche in every match he is consolidating his stance as one of the games raising star after leveling this club from a doubtful state and destined in this campaign as a sure candidate for relegation.

All of a sudden, we have a contender in these parts of Lancashire, England with a squad fighting not for its survival but for a European positon at the end of the campaign and maybe next year we may see them in another version of a fairy tale.

As the second goal of the afternoon came in a four combination that Aaron Lennon, combine with his assist to the game hero Chris Woods for his first goal in the 70 minute to put the Clarets ahead before the game interrupted.

The West Ham faithful became invading the pitch and in tense moments, the match after the stadium stewards and police became involved the game went on with once again Chris Woods perseverance put the score at 3-0 in the 81 minute.

For Burnley this match displayed this squads all around confidence and for the West Ham side, this put the club directives in high alert and going into an emergency meetings to solve this club current crisis.

At the end, Burnley is displaying their hunger and aiming for the top spots in every week played and maybe looking at this entity finish within the top six and with a European spot as well elevating their man at their helm value.
