Arsenal 3, Watford 0
Emirates Stadium, London

The man from the Cezch Republic delivered a one of a kind afternoon in Emirates. With a series of important saves, the Gunners veteran goalkeeper became the match hero with an impeccable clean sheet, after displaying a series of notable saves.

As the Gunners roared at home facing a dangerous and hardened Watford, the Londoners big guns awaken today with a 3-0 rout over Javi Garcia side looking to deliver an all-around upset in Emirates.

Not today as the Gunners started the ball in the early minutes of this match, after a Mezut Ozil assistance to a well-placed Skodran Mustafi scoring with a header after being sandwiched by two Hornet defenders.

The Gunners in the 8 minute scored the first goal of the afternoon, and despite some dominance and some instances when the visitors tried their best to beat the likes of Petr Cech, this veterans came up big and stopping the Orns momentum.

As both Ozil netting his 50th assist in Premiership and for Cech scoring his 200th clean sheet, the whole of Emirates were for a treat as their Boys delivered a wondrous performance in the whole ninety minutes of play.

Still the mod at the colossus of Northeast London despite not showing off a total sold out and with numerous empty seats, the local Gunners rose to the occasion and recorded their second straight win after their recent one in the Europa League.

With the start of the second half once again both squads came determined to seal their deals as the Gunners knew of the adversary they had in front and anytime these could deliver a couple of scores to their dismay.

On the 59 minute, the former Borussia Boys with Henrik Mkhitaryan passing to an open Pierre- Emerick Aubumeyang who after making a move on the Orns keeper Oreztis, the second score came for Arsenal. Very well exposing the newly acquired investments per Wegner recommendations, those so far are adapting to the Frenchman scheme.

With the second goal in the scoreboard and the go ahead, and for Pierre- Emrick Aubemeyang ever since his arrival at Emirates with this score it becomes his third, but not only scoring did the Gabon native has under his sleeve but also assisting.

Returning to the match the Gunners despite the score and making it look easy, this was not a walk in the park for them despite playing as locals and with the support of their public, as the Watford eleven after seeing several changes.

As the Hornets were driving on the left side, when Roberto Pereyra making a dash towards the Gunners area, drawing the foul by defender Ainsley Maitland- Niles that the match official did not heisted to award the penalty.

Here when the Orns fearsome of strikers Troy Deeney was in charge of sending the shoot and with the moves of Cech he aborted his intentions of breaking the clean sheet and to the joy of the whole of Emirate’s, this became another amazing save.

Still this match was not over yet when a failed shoot by Ozil and after a rebound that landed in Pierre- Emerick Aubumeyang feet passing to Mkhitaryan for his first goal as a Gunner and what became the go ahead and final goal.

Despite the win for Arsenal, the chase for fifth place held by their cross-town foes Chelsea withstanding an eight-point lead and with the race getting interesting of who will finish among the top four considered one of Arsene Wegners desires.
