With both Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers on the winning column, suddenly these two squads are staging an all-around revival and turning their campaigns probably for the better. as the Hoops looking to climb around the top three spots and in the Bit O’ Red for its survival and leave behind relegation.
These two squads winning streak and the hotly contested race to the league top held currently by one point by Cork City over Dundalk and next weekend we have a match between these two considered as an all-around derby.
Starting in Carlisle Grounds with the locals Bray Wanderers fighting for its survival and with Waterford in town, the Seagulls and Blues had a share of points in a dull match and lack of scoring opportunities for both squads.

In Markets Field, the locals Super Blues looking forward to their advantage of locals to deliver a much needed win over the visiting Stephen Bradley and his Dublin Boys of the Shamrock Rovers.
After a good start from the locals and no luck in scoring, for the visitors in the 45 minute Joel Coustrain scoring before going to intermission and followed two minutes after the second half with a a score from international and departing Graham Burke in the 47’.

In Inchicore, the local Pats were hosts to a streaking Sligo Rovers, with both squads looking forward to a much-needed wins, at the end the perseverance of a battling Bit O’ Red that took the honors and left the Saints with many questions.
For the visiting Rovers scoring were Patrick McClean 11’, Alastair Roy 29’ and Jack Kearney 82’ and s top of the line defensive game, were the highlights for this win and a continuance of the visitor’s positive streak.
