Brighton, Hove and Albion defining itself as a competitor and fighter

For Chris Houghton the Seagulls Boss is finding his path to winning and looking forward to a successful campaign in their first year of playing in the ranks of Premiership after their recent promotion.

With a fighting spirit and all around competitiveness, the Brighton Boys are looking a bit contentious.

Coming to Liberty Stadium Paul Clement and his struggling Swans were looking for wad to a notable win over the Gulls, stop their negative skid in front of their home crowd, and start looking forward to revival.

As the Brighton Boys so far in the campaign sporting a 3-5-3 record and with this win places the debutantes in eight positions in the overall table with fifteen points, the result of their current playing is delivering a sort of positive balance.

Despite the league entering in its November month and just eleven matches played, the outlook for the Brighton Boys looks a bit challenging but not difficult as these are playing without any pressures.

As relegation is not a word to consider by Houghton and company just permanency and many more feats in the remainder of the campaign and taking advantage of any of its foes weakness will be a plus in the long run for the Albions.

In addition, today taking advantage of their foes oddities in its lineup lacking a savior of the likes of Gylfy Siggurdsson and Fernando Llorente sold to Everton and Tottenham, considered as an act of stupidity by the directives in Liberty Stadium.

The Gulls did took advantage defensively and offensively when Glen Murray scored in the 29 what proved to be the game winner and in their lone goal defended well by a well-placed Albion defense.

Now the consequences are seen with a an erratic and relegation prone Swans not displaying a serious and dangerous game and a manager in Paul Clement not being able turn his ship around for  the better and seeing it with anemic and disapproving attendances at home games.

Despite the 4-3-3 formation sent by the French manager, the locals had their opportunities to beat the arches defended effectively by Brighton’s Mat Ryan who denied all sorts of advances the locals had towards his box.

Very well, with a threesome in the attack the Swans sent Nathan Dyer, Jordan Ayew and Tammy Abraham headed, that did not provoked any serious troubles to the visitor’s defensive backfield that shined all ninety minutes of play.

For the locals despite being with a slight advantage in possession, interceptions, duels won in the ground and air, the perseverance and defiant spirit shown by the visiting Gulls became evident with this all around win considered by its manager as valuable.

Their next compromises faced with a lot of confidence and playing with a winning hunger that can continue to deliver results that are more fruitful and finish in an important spot, although the league is far from over but the way this club has level its game.

If this club continues to show off a more outgoing initiative of winning united with a hungry game for sure, the results this Brighton bunch deliver a productive campaign in the end as foreseen by its manager Chris Houghton.
