Everton’s needs to focus on its salvation and new manager

Forget Europa League after its trashing at home; disregard the promising campaign that pointed to an eventful Everton squad looking like a true contender after making all sorts of moves to reinforce its squad.

This was of course to make a one of a kind campaign and not be thinking of its salvation in these stages, and despite saying it too soon, time can be the best ally of the Toffees if these will like to see another day in the ranks of Premiership.

After today’s 5-1 trashing at home in an empty Goodison Park, the directives of this squad are in need of making it a top priority of getting a new man for this club helm at the sound of now!

So far, David Unsworth has proved feasible and despite making some progress in getting this club away from the danger zone with three points away and in sixteenth place, his nearest chaser in West Ham situated in eighteenth place and with nine points.

Something in the plus for this club after a promising starts all of a sudden his decline started so soon with an initial eleven considered in various circles in Premiership as dynamite.

Unfortunately bad managed, and this is not fair.

Still the road to salvation has many obstacles and for their interim manger in David Unsworth so far some of tactics and moves considered as average and with little effect, but this is not the time to be experimenting and felling asleep on the wheel.

With the arrival of Chris Coleman at Sunderland, a squad submerged in Championship and despite a well-lauded journalist stating that the former Wales Boss may be kicking himself in the chin after West Brom job available for a club in Premiership.

What about the School of Science not approaching the likes of Coleman, a good question and many why is from the followers of this club as Everton is a squad in England’s top flight, but what went wrong?

So far, the likes of both O’ Neill’s in Michael and Martin both Ireland’s national squads Bosses that after their recent fails, these may be in the market to get back to managing in a professional squad.

With a squad considered with one of the most promising and top of the line academies, the need of a new manager is to offer opportunity to these young guns as well the current squad get back the confidence in all of its roster.

Also, restore this squad game that deliver them a spot in the Europa League after a brilliant performance in the knockout stages and later hence their performances came in the big stage with a series of mediocre results, worth not speaking about it.

Getting rid of David Unsworth will be a bad idea, he should stay as an assistant to the new man Everton brings aboard, for him to learn more and maybe one day his time comes to be a bit more prolific and successful.

The players of this club do not need to be dejected and frustrated at the end of every match and this is not fair with a club with the firepower that many clubs will desire.

The need of salvation for this club is serious as well for the new suitor to handle its affairs and destinies for the rest of this campaign and at least make a try to finish at least in the top ten spots and why not with a Europa spot.
