Leicester City forgiveness became their doom at London Stadium

Near a sold out in London Stadium, the Hammers faithful saw with anticipation of how their much much-objected placement in their helm, ended up earning his first point but not enough to get his side out of the danger zone.

As the controversial and sudden appointment of the Scotsman taking over this troubled playing without an identity and hunger squad, today with an opportune score before the end of the first half by Cheikhou Koyate.

He turned the tables of the visiting Leicester City squad.

Unfortunately, in the early stages of this match the Irons exposing their weakness by allowing the visiting Foxes and early goal in the 8 minute with a pass clear by the local’s defenders.

Instead, the ball ended in the feet of Marc Albrighton for the first goal in the 8 minute and for the thousands of West Ham fans not so happy of seeing their squad allowing a first score due to the ineptitude of the defenders.

Still this squad recovers and started playing a serious game of football and despite the arrivals of the visitors strikers Jamie Vardy and Vicente Iborra attempts to defeat the likes of Joe Hart posts, the perseverance of the locals became their reward at the end.

One thing seen in the Academy of Football initial eleven was a total perseverance and display of a much-improved football that with a little push could give them a much-needed win.

For David Moyes it was business as usual and by sending for his starting eleven a conservative 4-2-3-1 formation with a lone Andy Carroll in the front looking forward to shake off his scoring slump.

As his presence in the field became a valuable one after being involved in some plays that could been lethal for Leicester City bunch and its top rated keeper Kasper Schemiechel almost surrendering a couple of scores from the locals push.

For Leicester City, manager Claude Puel that at the end the Frenchman saw in disbelief how his side could not pull in what many could state as a valuable win away and uplift his squad confidence along three possible points.

After missing several opportunities to wrap this one up and instead, they chose to forgive.

Now is back to the drawing board and wait next week match at home against a resilient Spurs looking forward to continue seeking a spot among the top three spots in the league.

Despite the tie, the Leicester City Foxes seeded in eleventh place with fourteen points as for West Ham the share of a point still is keeps them in relegation but an odd result for West Brom can uplift them out of the danger zone.

Still for many of the Irons faithful, the draw does not constitute relief or a vast improvement but a slight one, a point is a point and with an upcoming compromise on Tuesday against Everton, this will be a one of a kind test for them.

As the return of David Moyes to Goodison Park a sort of homecoming for the troubled Scottish looking forward to deliver his first win in the home that built him a notable reputation before his stumbles.

With every point in the line counting before their schedule of hell against Manchester City, and a couple of London Derbies against Chelsea and Arsenal will be test of fire for Moyes and company.

As I always stated, that there is no such thing than an easy foe.

This is something that the Academy of Football will have to prove with plenty of courage and valiantly if they are to see an all-around revival and here, their opportunity against these three giants can be one to shine or bust.
