For the Gunners this edition of the North London Derby

There is no place like home and when the Gunners play in the colossus of North London Emirates Stadium, they are a force not to be reckoning with.

As this much anticipated match that saw the return of league play after a lengthy international break.

The Gunners are showing an all-around revival and ambitious drive to try to make a stand in the campaign and despite the Citizens lengthy lead over them, for Wegner and company there is no stopping his London Boys.

Moreover, today at Emirates these show off their mettle and extending their dominance in these competitions against their cross London Town neighbors, and no exception the Hotspurs are among one of their favorite clients.

Despite the firepower and dynamism exhibited by the Lilywhites since the arrival of Pochettino in these parts of the capital, today his complaints and protests over a failed official decision that the Argentinian claims costed his squad the match as well the Derby bragging rights.

One thing you cannot deny from the local Arsenal initial eleven, their momentum and one of a kind inspiration that carry them with the match and seeing their positive streak extend this club within striking distance from their cross-town nemesis.

As both Wegner and Pochettino sent the same formations to their starting elevens with both sporting a 3-4-2-1 at the end the Gunners persevered and with all the right moves and strategies placed in the table by their Boss these executed successfully and the score speaks with a 2-0 win.

Very well, Wegner backfield composed of Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi and Nacho Monreal earned their pay today with merit after stopping one of the most dangerous and lethal of attacking duo in Dele Alli and Harry Kane seeing their efforts going blank.

Alongside of stopping wonder Boys Christian Eriksen, Ben Davis and making Davinson Sanchez display a not so bright afternoon and poor game that allowed the locals the liberty of scoring, despite the finger pointing by Poche over referee Mike Dean double booboo.

Still both scores came in the first half for Arsenal with defender Shkodran Mustafi via a kick performed via Mesut Ozil to open up the score and send the whole of Emirate’s into a frenzy in the 36 minute.

No later than five minutes pass, when Lacazette got a pass, he directed it to Alexis Sanchez, and with sheer insistence, the Chilean striker scores the go ahead and insurance goal for a notorious North London Derby win.

Delivering three points of gold for the Gunners and tied with Liverpool in the table with 22 points and a goal differential the Red edging the Londoners, being within one point of Tottenham situated with 23 points and in fourth place.

Today was not a good day for Poche and company as he saw his efforts and top of the line-attacking duo stopped abruptly by a gem of a defensive threesome and a valiant Petr Cech putting the icing on the cake defensively to continue their recovery in the campaign.

At the end, playing at home and regardless of the foe you have in front of you the Gunners had a dandy of a match thanks in the majority to the sold out crowd in Emirates today that never stopped cheering and supporting their Boys.

Now that can make a world of difference!
