Sean Dyche touted as the
men to one day manage the destinies of the English National team after the
poise and class this man has exhibited during his stint in Turf Moor.
After last campaign
near brush to relegation, Sean Dyche played his cards right and with certain
perseverance he and his Burnley Boys prevailed to see another campaign in the
ranks of Premiership.
As last campaign, this
squad had its struggles, still managed finishing barely above the relegation
spots in sixteenth place.
So far, in this edition
of Premiership the Clarets situated in seventh place with nineteen points with back-to-back
wins- last week against Newcastle United and today as visitors in Saint Mary’s against
the Southampton Saints.
The new philosophy and
dynamic manager Sean Dyche has instituted in Turf Moor in this campaign has elevated
this squad game above for the better and displaying a more competitive approach
not intimidated by anyone.
Today’s win in
Southampton is elevating this man bonus and making his work more attractive and
putting in evidence his capabilities of turning a poor program into a more prolific
one as this campaign has put his squad within reaches of Europe.
Still there is quite
a ways for the league to end its campaign and with far more matches ahead in
league play and internal competitions as the Carabao and FA Cups; for Burnley the
challenge is far more complex and rough.
In today’s match, the
Clarets had a tough compromise by facing a feisty Southampton and at their home
turf, the outlook for the visiting Lancashire Boys did not looked promising at
all but it was a defiance of how this young club approach is taking one match
at a time.
The way success is
coming to Burnley is something that is turning many heads in Premiership
circles.
Sean Dyche is showing
off a lot of his mettle and wisdom gain in his time at Burnley, is finally delivering
positive results and making this club a sort of resilient and displaying a one
of a kind football.
In the course of the
campaign entering in November and with a month to go before the league declares
the end of its first half, the Clarets are looking very combative and in their current
position in the table rubbing elbows with Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Unthinkable is the appropriate
word to describe the feats this club is achieving in the course of the campaign
and looking very positive if these continue with their momentum.
We can say in today’s
match, San Dyche and company had the right moves after seeing a tale of the tape
with the local Saints dominating the match in its entirety and at the end the
perseverance and efforts put by Dyche paid off.
After a disputed
first half, with both squads displaying a mano a mano of who can penetrate their
goal boxes first, halftime ended with zero goals for both squads, but in the
second Dyche moves paid off.
The double move made
by the Clarets Boss became an accurate one in the 65 with the incorporation of
Sam Vokes and Ashley Barnes for Jeff Hedrick and Chris Wood became a positive
as Vokes with his opportune shoot in the 81 broke the deadlock.
Scoring what became
the game winner via a long pass from Johann Berg Gudmondsoon to beat the likes
of Fraser Forster and leave St. Mary’s in complete silence in contrast of a
traveling contingent of Burnley fans celebrating loudly their Boys feat.
Despite the success
and the incessant rumors of his move to Goodison Park, this man does not lose
his cool and his only goal is to continue forward with his projects of
delivering positive result in Turf Moor.
