Waterford looking forward to an effective campaign

For Waterford manager Alan Reynolds, he is a man with a mission to deliver a one of a kind campaign with his Blues and make another feat after netting a promotion to Ireland’s Premiership.

The idea is to stay put in Aitricity’s Premiership in their first year that will be the main aim, possibly to net a finish among the most notable spots, and maybe seize a spot that can earn them a European spot.

Still I am asking a lot from a squad recently promoted and with the levels of competition, the SSE is seeing in every campaign and its squads arming themselves to display a one of kind campaigns not only in league play but also on the international scene.

After an amazing campaign in the League of Ireland First Division and winning their promotion with an all-around authority, even though their run in the Premiership has not begun, for their man in the helm he will take in consideration every game seen of vital importance.

One thing these club directives embarked in the transfers market in reinforcing every position of this club alongside the returning of several of its players that won the promotion and by combining these players to make a total contender.

However as the squad celebrated winning the shield, the top brass went arduously at work to keep the majority of its top rated players in Paul Keegan, Patrick McClean, Derek Daly, Estonian Sander Puri,  goalkeeper Matthew Connor, and U-19 Republic of Ireland John Martin.

In addition, other players returning are striker Dan Walsh, Garry Comonfort, Kenny Browne, Dean O’ Halloran, giving the club directives a certain accomplishment of seeing its base of players returning for this 2018 campaign in the top circuit.

The club decided to bring new players reinforcing its midfield with Galway United Gavan Holohan, Saints Rory Feely, Limerick Batian Hery, UCD keeper Niall Corbet, Shamrock Rovers defender Dave Webster, and Bohemians striker Ishmail Akinade.

so far with the new recruits, the Blues have addressed their needs in getting  striker and reinforcing its midfield, along many of its top rated players returning this club is up nd ready to display a on eof kind campaign that can let them stay put in the top circuit.

Very well preparing themselves to an ambitious and test-ridden preseason against squads of the likes of Tramore AFC, Wexford FC, Cabinteely, Cobh, Derry City, Shelbourne, St Pats and a couple of games against league champions Cork City.

With experience and youth joined altogether manager Alan Reynolds and his Waterford squad are the teams to watch very closely in this edition of the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland make an all-around impact as the newly promoted squad.

Very well aiming for the top, after all the way this club built in the preseason not missing any detail of bolstering any positon and have an edge over the other squads, the Blues are prime candidates of a lengthy stay in the League of Ireland.
