When it counts the most, the Cherries deliver



What a way to close the New Year with a double and a win considered an important one, catapulting these embattled Cherries out of the danger zone all the way to fourteenth place.

Still nothing accomplished, but this win and three points are seen as golden, as the AFC lately the troubles these been into and today's win at home is seen a step in the right direction for Eddie Howe and company.

With a sold match in Vitality Stadium and going against one of the most revitalized and renewed squads in Premiership, the Everton Toffees, seeing an all-around revival since Big Sam came to these parts of Merseyside.

This match did not looked promising or an affair that the locals were to tangle with success in its entirety, as the School of Science had an unbeaten run of eight matches and to close 2017 with a win would been the right thing.
 
Not today as they came across with a very inspired chap by the name of Ryan Fraser that delivered when it counted the most and being vocal in a win that gave his squad an all-around boost in confidence.

Especially when all of Premiership squads are aware of an upcoming second half with all of the elements of being a much-contested association and for several squads looking, forward to their salvation and assure their permanency.

Moreover, these Cherries are among those squads to put on a fight for their survival.

Today was one of those days and leaving home with a smile in tier faces after their one of a kind feat these performed today, the outcome of this young squad in the remainder of the campaign will be upon their efforts and the way Eddie Howe strategies work out.

Going to the match, with a hungry AFC initial eleven that since the beginning of the match their desires of delivering a wondrous match and looking forward at all times for the feat at all costs.

Starting with a couple of attempts from Callum Wilson and later Jordan Ibe, the Cherries were knocking on the Toffees posts getting their keeper Jordan Pickford a bit tied up for the time being.

It was in the 33 minute when the locals started a counter attack and with a one two combination from Joshua King serving a nice volley that an acrobatic Ryan Fraser pushing the ball and beating the Toffees keeper to the delirium of the attendees in Vitally Stadium.

As halftime approached and with the positive drive and game displayed by the locals, the second half was not going to be a walk in the park for Eddie Howe and company as they were aware of the capabilities and multiple weapons the visitors came with.

Still this affair was not over yet when the visitors answered back with an assist from Oumar Niasse to Idrisa Gueye for the equalizer in the 57-minute for the visitors reaction and the joy of their traveling contingent seeing their Boys staging a wondrous comeback.

However, the Cherries after a series of attempts and putting Everton keeper Jordan Pickford to work extra in order to save his posts but it was not enough when Ryan Fraser in the 88 minute scored the game winning goal.

Thanks to a power play created in the midfield by Adam Smith and then passing to Fraser for a bounce that the visitors goalkeeper could not stop and seeing his side at the end succumbed by the push of a resilient Cherries squad.
