
After a couple of days celebrating their win at home over their archrivals Dundalk and taking sole possession of first place, after the Lilywhites win at home over the Pats, closing this week of play we have a tie in the top.
Let us start with the Shamrock Rovers seeing their luck down in tier last five matches; all of a sudden, they deliver mayhem to a momentum-ridden and top of the table holder Cork City.

In Markets Field at Limerick, the local Super Blues totally annihilated by the visiting and hot streaked Derry City with goals from Rory Patterson 45 and a double from Aaron McEneff 84 and 90 for the win.

At Oriel Park the Lilywhites after its guns silenced at Turners Cross on Friday, today they unleashed their fury to the visiting Saint Patrick’s Athletic with a goal rout and a clean sheet to tie the Leesiders at the top of the league table.

Back in Phibsborough colossus in Dalymont Park, the local Bohemians were to play the Waterford squad these latter ones looking forward to return to its winning ways.
As the visitors opening the ball with an early goal from Courtney Duffus 16, that became the only one score of the game, retuning the Blues to its winning ways with a clean sheet and trailing both Dundalk and Cork City in the overall table by three points.
