For Bray winning at home a way to save this campaign

For low key and troubled Bray Wanderers squad, in this 2018 by winning their fourth match of the campaign at home over troubled Sligo Rovers shades a glimpse of hope for these low-flying Seagulls.

Still that apathy and indifference from its followers not supporting in full their semiprofessional team averaging 200 fans per game or seeing a number increase when the traveling fans from the opposing team comes to town.

For their man in the helm Martin Russell looking forward to revive his squad and looking forward to start a dramatic turnaround and find a way to lure the local Bray fan base back to Carlisle Grounds.

Currently this squad when is in the news is with not so notable headliners, stating about this squad economic woes that in the end of the campaign will not be able to make payroll due to an existing economic crisis.

However what do, you expect from a club that lacks not only monies in its near empty coffers and that lacks support not only monetary but a loyal fan base not going to any of its matches and averaging no more than 200 fans in every home match. The traveling fans outnumbering the locals by a margin of 2 to 1, I believe we have a serious problem.

Sad but a reality when we speak about a club that last campaign before the league start had a lot of possibilities of making a dash and finishing among the top three spots and netting a European spot after a strong finish in 2016.

Going back to this weekend win over another troubled squad looking once again a firm candidate for the league relegation and this weekend loos against low flying Bray Wanderers and these playing as locals delivered a very valuable win. In addition, of winning this, match manager Russell side is within six points of Sligo.

Unfortunately, this win in the weekend and its fourth in the campaign, the Gulls are making a dash towards their salvation their recent achievements shadowed by the difficulty above-mentioned and possibly seeing an exodus of players.

The disappearance of the Wicklow side will be a total loss for Irish football in a city that can turn it things around in support of this club win or lose followers will always have to be with their club and so far have turned their backs completely on this club.

One thing for sure I give this club an A for effort and in this campaign these take advantage of their condition of playing as a local and delivering positive results united to the other squads negative possible these are facing a total salvation.

In the end, Bray Wanderers are suddenly seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and one by taking advantage of their condition of local by winning each one of its matches and look for ways to maybe to stay put for another campaign in the SSE.
