So far, the arrival of Diogo Balot from Porto, Fred- Shaktar Donesk and Lee Grant- Stoke City, reinforcing the defense, midfield and putting a second man that can cover the arches of United in Grant behind David De Gea.
Still in the mind and wishes of Mou are still the likes of Tottenham Toby Alderweild who can reinforce his defense, another is of Real Madrid Gareth Bale who can uplift this squad midfield and maybe with Fred, these two can influence Paul Pogba in his game.
In addition, of looking over Leicester City defender and England, stand out in this past World Cup in Harry Maguire to boost its defense, alongside Argentinian Marcos Rojo the Red Devils can have one of the top rated defenses in the league. As well seeing the addition of Croatia’s Ivan Perisic will be another alternative.
Forget the big guns from London, the competition for Manchester bragging rights and defending champions Manchester City, has put Mou on the lookout for new talent in order not only compete but aspire for the top of the table.
The competition in every campaign n in Premier league escalates; this edition has put two contenders in the league title in Manchester City and Liverpool arming itself to the teeth and looking forward to rule Premiership.
As the Red Devils currently preparing in their preseason tour, now that this World Cup is over the list of desired players increasing for Mou, in the next day or so maybe we can hear of a bombshell of a headliner of a new name or player coming to Trafford.
However with the likes of Lukaku, Pogba, Rojo, De Gea and many others , this club is no need of another superstar, these roster will do for now and elevating their game these can become a tough client for the nineteen squads in this league.
If Mou takes a different approach with Rojo, Lukaku and especially with troubled Paul Pogba now a World Champion with France, this lad can be his main engine in the attack and using his motivation for sure the can man can deliver notable results and campaign.
The only thing is for Mourinho to get his old magic and charm for his players to produce and stop his confrontational attitude or dreaming of perfection, he just needs to enjoy the game that has given him many satisfactions.
Maybe we are a little apprehensive towards Mou but the men knows his business and with the hopes of not seeing a repeat in Chelsea were several players made him to resign abruptly, here in Trafford will be disastrous.
This is it, the campaign and the challenge of making these Red Devils once again the winning squad that in the past became the darlings in the world, the question arises if he can do it and deliver, in the end will see the results.
