As Highbury lived,
the all-around commotion of Champions play as well singing aloud, the whole
venue was a total madhouse waiting to see their Hoops continuance of displaying
their top of the line football and winning ways.
Not until disaster hit!
With a total sold out
at the colossus of Parkhead and showing of totally a frantic ambiance from the Hoops
followers, it was in the 19 minute when the visitor’s million pounds men
started making their moves that earned them such high payoff.

No later, we had the
pleasure of seeing the Kylian Mbappe show the other gem in the crown of the
Parisians with a shoot that rattle the whole of Glasgow for the 2-0 with 34
minutes in the clock.
Silencing a whole of
Celtic Park completely, after seeing in awe how the Bhoys were completely shutdown
and not showing their champions mettle that took them to these stages and
playing a sort of second tier football.
Very well, not displaying
the football the Celts are accustomed too offensively and with high dynamism
but the whole initial eleven sent by Rodgers being toyed around by an initial eleven
putting on an exhibition and not playing a serious game of ball.
Still the night had
to belong to Le Rouge- et- Bleu as Boss Unai Emery did see the fruits of his
three musketeers deliver a fatal blow to their hosts in East Glasgow.
With the game in its
fullest, the unthinkable came of Jozo Simonic fouling the likes of Edison
Cavani in the area and the game official did not hesitated to award Les
Parissiens a penalty in their favor as well a yellow given to the Croatian for
his blatant foul.

As the night belonged
to PSG threesome, also don’t count the Uruguayan Cavani out, after scoring a
double as he scored the more than insurance goal in the 86 to seal the deal, before
Celtic Mikale Lustig two minutes earlier did an own goal.
As the second half
started with three goals and a total dominance from the French side over their Scottish
hosts, the whole of Celtic Park become a silent ground to the point of almost
hearing grasshopper’s singing.

Especially with the
big guns of Mbappe, Cavani and Neymar, alongside the rest of the star-studded initial
eleven by PSG, that its total value of £600 million versus Celtic £20 million
with no comparison to the defending league of Scotland champions budget.
The mood at the end
for Brendan Rodgers is to forget this loss and focus in league play as well in
his next compromises in the group of death he and his Celts are in with Bayern
Munich and RSC Anderlecht.

A field day for PSG
and a nice memory from Celtic Park with a 5-0 rout over the local champions
seen at time unbeatable and today they held a mastery over their hosts, it don’t
come easy for Brendan Rodgers.
Still kudos for the man
from North Ireland for his gambles with 18 years old Anthony Ralston that had
to keep Neymar at bay and despite his lone goal and a chance to score another
for the Brazilian, Ralston still can get some notable credit.
Very well several
scoring opportunities came for Celtic way, so close but no cigar, at the end, one
sorry afternoon for Celtic, a sort of returning to reality, I must say.
