Wayne Rooney’s return to the Theater of Dreams became a total nightmare

All smiles in the tunnel as some of Wayne Rooney former Manu colleagues shake hands and hugs until the parade into the field now dressed as an Everton Blue ready to guide his team to victory and deliver an upset to his former employer.

As the former Manu great, is now the newest jewel of Everton great build up!

The Rooney era in Goodison Park has sparked a lot of optimism and promise of finally building a complete squad capable of being a contender to the shield in these parts of Merseyside.

However, the day of his comeback to the Theater of Dreams had arrived.

Unfortunately the way the Toffees are playing football lately after starting hot in the campaign suddenly for its Boss Ronnie Koeman seeing a total meltdown in its initial eleven.

Despite this squad disbursing a record £140 million to reinforce this squad from A to Z and amongst one of those hot commodities the last minute arrival of Gylfy Sigurdsson from Swansea to reinforce their midfield.

Today the whole School of Science initial eleven missing in action, with the exception of its defensive backfield going to all the extremes to stop all afternoon long the Red Devils offense.

With the return of Wayne Rooney to the Theater of Dreams, where he inscribed in this club many memorable pages in its successful story as a player for Manu, now as his return as a Toffee looking forward to catapult his team to primetime.

Still there were ninety minutes to play and against a squad seeing a successful start since the days of Sirs Matt Busby and Alex Ferguson, but now under Jose Mourinho- the Red Devils are somehow playing a one of a kind football.

As reality stinks, as the Manchester Boys playing at home under a total sold out Old Trafford seeing the return of one of its symbolic players, now going against them.

This was a match were he got a lesson from his former teammates not allowing him to display the game he is comfortable with among one of them an inspired and tough David De Gea stopping his rally short and shoots to deny him of a score against his former team.

Very well, a not so pleasant homecoming after seeing his side totally wiped out of the field of play by a brilliant and exceptional Manchester United, playing with determination and never yielding an inch to his Blues.

I can state that United made a show of force like no other, after opening the scoreboard with a brilliant side-to-side combination from Nemanja Matic to a lone Antonio Valencia.

As the Ecuadorian send, a spectacular shoot to open the score with just four minutes in the game and with a whole venue turning into a madhouse after seeing with their own eyes the feat of their South American defender.

The buck did not stopped there, as scores by Henrik Mkhitaryan 83, Romelu Lukaku after several tries he scores in the 89 and a penal on injury time taken care by Anthony Martial 92, were enough to seal the deal.

The conclusion is that Wayne Rooney will have another shoot of its former team when these play again sometime in the second half of league play, as of today his performance along of his squad is something to forget.
