Chris Houghton Seagulls looking for a Premiership revival

This weekend win made the newly promoted Brighton Boys into believers, after dispatching the West Brom Boys in what seems to be a new type of Derby between these two Albion clubs bearing the same moniker.

As the Gulls after finally putting a point in their favor, this time they deliver three golden ones to put themselves in a more comfortable positon in the table and now start moving on up the overall table.

With a draw against Watford in Vicarage Road, Houghton and company finally delivered a point after two back-to-back losses and getting a not so warm welcome to the ranks of Premiership with a cold dose of reality.

A win considered as important if this squad would like to continue above the infamous relegation spots and if they would like to see another day in the top circuit.

After these delivered a win considered as important and motivating to this bunch, now looking forward and good in England’s top tier, the Brighton bunch is poised to aspire to much significant achievements in this campaign.

Still let’s not put our bells to toll, but a win is a win and over a club that it’s Boss Tony Polis had a perfect start and among the top squad’s and spots, the locals today played the infamous role of spoilers to the Baggies.

As old Falmer or Amex Stadium, whatever you want to call it was a new branch of England leading sanitarium after its follower’s frenzy, seeing in disbelief how its initial eleven went out its way, and denying the Albion bunch an easy win.

For manager Houghton seeing how his initial eleven displayed a unique and one of a kind dominance throughout the whole match, the spotlight was for German forward Pascal GroB who had a double of an afternoon.

Scoring in the 45 and 48 and with Tomer Hemed 63, were enough to seal the deal and delivered for their squad their first win of the campaign and despite the lone goal Baggies goal in the 77 by James Morrison.

The afternoon belonged to the local Brighton, Hove and Albion bunch that delivered a one of a kind game and suddenly are looking that they are set and ready to start displaying their game that brought them the promotion to the big circuit.

In addition, the 4-4-1-1 formation sent by the Gulls Boss, paid off.

With four points and moving up to thirteen places in the overall table, the Seagulls manager aims are to see a continuance of positive results and in the winter break see his club in a notable position and away from the bottom spots.

As their next compromise scheduled on Friday against low flying and win less Bournemouth, the opportunity for the Brighton Boys are endless to deliver another significant win that can really uplifts this squad confidence.

One thing for Chris Houghton should not adopt a sort of laid-back attitude with his Boys despite the Cherries negative record, but with a man of the likes of their Boss Eddie Howe, he can pull a surprise.

I called this a sort of revival for this club after posting losses in their first two matches and finally playing into a scoreless draw against another renewed Hornets squad, and now the win over West Brom.

This sends a signal that this club is for real and can score despite manager Houghton frustrations with this club top office of not buying him a top-notch striker, still what he has in his roster can do the job as GroB and Hemer can produce.

Very well their club cab stage an all-around revival!
