Now or never for the Boys of North Ireland

As that Elvis Presley song states, it’s now or never, and for the Norn Iron being a long shoot in Group C,  their upcoming matches are considered  important if not crucial for their aspirations for a World Cup spot.

So far seeded in second place in their group with thirteen points and five behind first place Germany these holding a sure pass to the next rounds, the aims of the Green and White Army is looking to nab one of those second best spots.

With San Marino in the books on September 1, the Boys from the North may have their hands full with this foe as they state that there is no such thing than an easy one, as la Serenissima can play the role of spoiler.

Especially by the boost, they will be getting after playing at home in San Marino Stadium in Serravalle.

Still the outlook for the Norn Iron with a few of its most important players on injury reserve , for manager Michael O’ Neill his moves can be very focal with his squad in his upcoming compromises.

So far for O’ Neill tackling various issues with injured players and the Jonny Evans case transfer that hopefully will not be a distraction for the current Baggies defender on the eve of their upcoming San Marino compromise.

With players of the likes of Watford’s Craig Cathcart with a knee problem, Liam Boyd- Burton- Albion, followed by Gareth McAuley and Jonny Evans West Brom both suffering a tight issue and O’ Neill has Michael Smith from Hearts and Bailey Peacock- Bailey Leeds United as his recent call ups.

As the memories of France 2016 in the past EURO, showing off with an amazing performance and after this competition was a first for them; their pass to the round of 16 after seeded in a difficult group, their elimination came from Wales.

Still this group showed off a lot of heart and spirit in that competition.

Now for manager O’ Neill aims to try to qualify his Green and White Army to the second round and make a tough stand in the playoffs that decides what squad will be representing Europe, his hopes are deposited in his group resilience.

He is aware of his upcoming matches with San Marino away and returning home to play at Windsor against the Czech Republic, these looking to bounce back and make a run to the top spots, this match for sure will be a total headache for the Norn Iron.

As the Czechs currently in third place trailing North Ireland with four points, these for sure will like to make a tough outing and try their best to deliver a fatal blow at the colossus of Belfast and be within a point.

As the Norn Iron final matches in October, the outlook does not look easy with Germany and Norway.

After back-to-back presentations in the World Cup of 1982 in Spain and later in 1986 in Mexico, North Ireland has not been able to attend any other, but in the mind of its Boss Michael O’ Neill his persistence with his group can deliver notable results.

To conclude this is the list that manager Michael O’ Neill has for his September matches.

Dianiarracht agus misean do cháilitheoirí na hÉireann

Níor ghlactar go mór le Martin O 'Neill agus le Buachaillí Phoblacht na hÉireann, mar a n-dhá chluiche eile i gcoinne Phoblacht na Seiceálaise agus na Seirbia, go raibh siad ríthábhachtach dá bhforbairt a dhéanamh ar an láthair go dtí na chéad bhabhta eile.

De réir mar a thosaíonn a n-eachtra ar 2 Meán Fómhair i Tbilisi chun imirt i gcoinne an tSeoirsia ag Boris Paichadze Stadium, cé go mbuaileann na Buachaillí Glas ar 2016 le sprioc aonair ó Seamus Coleman, ag seachadadh trí phointe ór.

Ba é sin agus anois tá gach rud ar an tábla le haghaidh O 'Neill agus is féidir leis an gcuideachta gur féidir leis na seoirseoirí atá ag seinm sa bhaile ról spoilers a imirt ar mhaithe le hiarrachtaí an Airm Ghlais, rud a chuireann fiontair nach bhfuil chomh furasta sin.

Ansin bogadh ar aghaidh chuig Aviva Stadium ar chluiche a bhí sceidealta le haghaidh 5 Meán Fómhair i gcoinne an tSeirbia.

Go dtí seo, cheangail an dá squad sa chéad áit le buntáiste beag ag an bhFoireann Náisiúnta Seirbis thar Phoblacht na hÉireann i ndifríocht sprioc, ina bhfabhar, mar a mheas an mheaitseáil seo an-tábhachtach don dá squads.

I gcás bainisteoir O'Neill, tá a scuad ag dul go dtí córas oiliúna docht agus d'ainneoin cúpla neamhláithreacha suntasacha a fheiceáil mar gheall ar ghortuithe, fós an dóchas a bhí aige chun tosaigh ar an gcomhréiteach atá le teacht, feiceann sé dearcadh dearfach chun cinn dá scuad.

Ar an liosta díobhála tá James McCarty (hamstring), Jeff Hendrick (quad), Eunan O 'Kane (groin), Keire Westwood (glúine), David Meyler (glúine) agus Jonathan Walters (rúitín).
Tá Aiden McGready agus David McGoldrick ar chúiseanna pearsanta.

Is féidir leis na himeachtaí a bheith ag fás go mór le hÉireannaigh le roinnt imreoirí a thagann chun cinn go tapa agus is féidir iad a fheiceáil mura bhfuil siad i gcluiche Georgia ach sa bhaile i gcoinne an tSeirbia, le feiceáil i súile an bhainisteora, O 'Neill, comórtas ríthábhachtach dá Airm Glas.

In ainneoin gurb é an tSeoirsia atá sa tábla foriomlán i nGrúpa D, is cúis mhór é seo nach gcuireann sé an-mheas agus go bhfeictear é mar Trodaire iomlán ag súil go mór le teacht siar míreannaíoch sna céimeanna deiridh seo de na cáilitheoirí.

Is féidir le buaiteoirí a bheith ar bun cinnte go dtiocfaidh siad chun cinn agus spreagann siad móiminteam fabhrach do na Buachaillí Éireannacha ag súil go mór lena gcéad chomhréiteach sa bhaile a bheith deacair ach gan a bheith dodhéanta a chríochnú le nóta ard chomh maith le bogadh ar an gcéad dul síos ina ngrúpa.

Beidh sé ríthábhachtach i mí Mheán Fómhair más rud é nach mí tábhachtach do mhianta Phoblacht na hÉireann é a dhéanamh i gcomórtas idirnáisiúnta eile agus feidhmíocht eile suntasach eile a dhéanamh mar an ceann a rinne siad san eagrán seo caite de EURO.

Is é an sprioc atá fós ag Poblacht na hÉireann ná bua na Seirbia a tharraing siad ar an gcéad chruinniú sraithe ag Béalgrád le scór dhá sprioc i ngach ceann de na comhghuaillithe idir an dá squad.

Beidh cúpla buanna i mí Mheán Fómhair don Airm Glas iontach agus is maith leis an Mholdóiv a bheith ag imirt i Staidéar Aviva i mBaile Átha Cliath agus ag dul go Staidéar na Cathrach i gCathair na Gaillimhe chun Wale contúirteacha agus athléimneacha a dhéanamh.

Ag deireadh na bliana tá an teas ar Martin O 'Neill agus a chomhréiteach idirnáisiúnta atá ag teacht leis an Arm Uaine agus is féidir le fear an Tuaisceart é seo a chur suas le roinnt torthaí dearfacha.

Seo an liosta saincheaptha do phobal na foirne Peile Phoblacht na hÉireann

Cúl báire: Darren Randolph (Middleborough), Rob Elliot (Newcastle United), Keire Westwood (Sheffield Dé Céadaoin).

A tough endeavor and mission for the Republic of Ireland qualifiers

No turning back for Martin O’ Neill and his Republic of Ireland Boys, as their next two matches against the Republic of Georgia and Serbia, considered crucial in their quest of netting a spot to the next rounds.

As their adventure starts on September 2 in Tbilisi to play against Georgia at Boris Paichadze Stadium, even though the Boys in Green win on 2016 thanks by a lone goal from Seamus Coleman, delivering three points of gold.

That was then and now everything is on the table for O’ Neill and company as the Georgians playing at home can play the role of spoilers to the Green Army aspirations, looking like a not so easy enterprise.

Then moving on to Aviva Stadium on a match scheduled for September 5 against Serbia.

So far, both squads tied in first place with the Serbian National Team slight advantage over the Republic of Ireland in goal differential, in their favor, as this match considered very important for both squads.

For manager O’Neill his squad going to a strict training regimen and despite seeing a few notable absences due to injuries, still his optimism ahead of the upcoming compromises he sees it a positive outlook ahead for his squad.

The injury list includes James McCarty (hamstring), Jeff Hendrick (quad), Eunan O’ Kane (groin), Keiren Westwood (knee), David Meyler (knee) and Jonathan Walters (ankle).

Aiden McGready and David McGoldrick are both out with personal reasons.

Still the odds can favor the Ireland bunch with several players making quick recoveries and maybe seeing them if not in the Georgia game but at home against Serbia, seen in the eyes of manager O’ Neill a vital match for his Green Army.

Despite the positon of Georgia in the overall, table in Group D, this is a serious foe to not underestimate and seen as a total fighter looking forward to a miraculous comeback in this last stages of the qualifiers.

A win away can for sure be uplifting and drive a favorable momentum for the Irish Boys looking forward to their next compromise at home seen as difficult but not impossible to finish with a high note as well move atop first place in their group.

September will be a crucial if not important month for the Republic of Ireland aspirations to make it into another international competition and make another noteworthy performance as the one they did in the past edition of EURO.

Still the target for the Republic of Irelands is a win over the Serbians whom they drew on tier first meeting at Belgrade with a score of two goals each for a tie in what seemed to be a very contested affair between both squads.

A couple of wins in September for the Green Army will be amazing as they have the likes of Moldova to play in Aviva Stadium in Dublin and going to City Stadium in Cardiff City to face off a dangerous and resilient Wale’s.

At the end the heat is on Martin O’ Neill and his Green Army upcoming international compromises and which the North Ireland man can wrap this up with a couple of positive results.
