A tough endeavor and mission for the Republic of Ireland qualifiers

No turning back for Martin O’ Neill and his Republic of Ireland Boys, as their next two matches against the Republic of Georgia and Serbia, considered crucial in their quest of netting a spot to the next rounds.

As their adventure starts on September 2 in Tbilisi to play against Georgia at Boris Paichadze Stadium, even though the Boys in Green win on 2016 thanks by a lone goal from Seamus Coleman, delivering three points of gold.

That was then and now everything is on the table for O’ Neill and company as the Georgians playing at home can play the role of spoilers to the Green Army aspirations, looking like a not so easy enterprise.

Then moving on to Aviva Stadium on a match scheduled for September 5 against Serbia.

So far, both squads tied in first place with the Serbian National Team slight advantage over the Republic of Ireland in goal differential, in their favor, as this match considered very important for both squads.

For manager O’Neill his squad going to a strict training regimen and despite seeing a few notable absences due to injuries, still his optimism ahead of the upcoming compromises he sees it a positive outlook ahead for his squad.

The injury list includes James McCarty (hamstring), Jeff Hendrick (quad), Eunan O’ Kane (groin), Keiren Westwood (knee), David Meyler (knee) and Jonathan Walters (ankle).

Aiden McGready and David McGoldrick are both out with personal reasons.

Still the odds can favor the Ireland bunch with several players making quick recoveries and maybe seeing them if not in the Georgia game but at home against Serbia, seen in the eyes of manager O’ Neill a vital match for his Green Army.

Despite the positon of Georgia in the overall, table in Group D, this is a serious foe to not underestimate and seen as a total fighter looking forward to a miraculous comeback in this last stages of the qualifiers.

A win away can for sure be uplifting and drive a favorable momentum for the Irish Boys looking forward to their next compromise at home seen as difficult but not impossible to finish with a high note as well move atop first place in their group.

September will be a crucial if not important month for the Republic of Ireland aspirations to make it into another international competition and make another noteworthy performance as the one they did in the past edition of EURO.

Still the target for the Republic of Irelands is a win over the Serbians whom they drew on tier first meeting at Belgrade with a score of two goals each for a tie in what seemed to be a very contested affair between both squads.

A couple of wins in September for the Green Army will be amazing as they have the likes of Moldova to play in Aviva Stadium in Dublin and going to City Stadium in Cardiff City to face off a dangerous and resilient Wale’s.

At the end the heat is on Martin O’ Neill and his Green Army upcoming international compromises and which the North Ireland man can wrap this up with a couple of positive results.
