For the Montréal Boys
lately these are staging an all-around revival in the way these would like to
put the pedal to the metal as well start their moves closer towards the top
spots above the red line of the Eastern Conference.
With a one of a kind performance
by their utmost player in Ignacio Piatti, the Impact did a hell of run towards another
win, which marks their third consecutive.
That is why they call
it the Nacho Man show.
With just six minutes
on the match, all of a sudden, Le Gars start their move towards the Fire posts
and who else lead the way, the Nacho Man, with an accurate push on the ball
voila, we have the first score of the match.
As the whole of
Saputo Stadium was a total madhouse seeing how their main man in the field was
mastering the whole of the visitor’s defensive backfield with one brilliant
play after the other.
For manager Mauro
Biello playing his traditional 4-3-3 formation and with his top guns in the
attack in Piatti, Oduro and Mancosu, the Impact was showing off a lot of hunger
and determination in every minute of the match.
As the Impact were
looking to put a dozen more goals in the scoreboard, the second of the night
came in the 37 minute via Matteo Mancousu via a PK that netted the Fire keeper
a yellow card and after he converted.
This put the match more
in favor of Le Gars the game and first half not even ending yet.
Still this was too
early to wrap it up and call this a meritorious win, as the Chicago Fire are not
a walk in the park but tonight the City of Mary Boys were a bit stubborn of
sealing this deal early.
In the losing cause
the Chicago Fire did put on a fight and despite seeing a close play by David
Accam to goal, the presence and opportune reflexes via Montreal keeper Bush saved
himself the clean sheet.
After Mancouso second
goal not even a minute pass by when Blerim Dzemaili serve a nice midfield pass
to Piatti and these without any hesitations put the icing on the cake with a
nice long goal beating the Fire keeper Lampson.
With 38 minutes in
the official, clock the final and go-ahead goal for the Impact that at the end
their initial eleven delivered wonders especially in the defensive backfield
and its attack despite Dzemaili and Oduro not scoring.
However contributing
for one of the plays for goal, at the end the Impact threesome once again
delivered their third win in a consecutive form and are within two points from
being above the red line.
With the Columbus
Crew and Atlanta United squads occupying in fifth and sixth place respectively,
these are feeling the pressure from the Montreal Impact playing a top of the
line football.
Now all depends on
the remainder of the campaign and the Impact manager Biello keeping in his squad
consistency with his starting eleven for the remainder of the campaign if they want
to deliver a spot in the league postseason.
