Pep Guardiola City challenges

The English Premier League is not as easy as it looks and for Pep Guardiola in his first year in charge of Man City, he saw the reality of a far much-contested association than La Liga and Bundesliga.

As last campaign the Sky blues did not brought any piece of silverware to its halls under the man considered as the great one among young managers, considered as odd for a club with the most expensive payroll.

Money, money is what this club has and so far, Pep has spent a screaming amount over £200 million pounds and so far nothing scandalous coming the City way in the shape of a big name player.

As his team considered as an all-around favorite to win it all in this campaign, still for the Sky Blues manager he feels like he is missing someone in what is to be his all campaign initial eleven.

Despite counting with an insurmountable budget to get anyone, the Spaniard wants a heavyweight to play in Etihad and possibly get him and the team all the way to the always-elusive Champions final, a trophy that its owners desperately want.

Still the transfer’s market has been a very busy for the directives of City under orders of Guardiola and despite targeting all of Europe’s elite, so far the arrival of six players from that monstrous list he desired.

For now he has fulfill his desires, but the Spaniard still is looking that player for what he is missing in his overall attack and strategies in order to make an impact with his Boys.

Therefore, Pep has delivered a couple of Monaco Boys from his list that included Kylian Mbappe too.

Nevertheless, he is almost becoming a Real Madrid man, still Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva are now a part of this Blues squad.

These two are from that Monaco team that played in the semifinals and lost to Juventus in the last edition of Champions and City delivered two of that amazing team, as you know many squads in Europe are targeting Monaco’s entire initial eleven.

In addition, the incorporation of keeper Ederson- Benfica to compete with the likes of Claudio Bravo, Kyle Walker- Tottenham, Douglas Luiz- Vasco Da Gama and Danilo- Real Madrid are the names already incorporated in Pep circle.

The odds of this team making a superb run despite the challenges from its toughest competitors in the likes of cross town foe Manu arming with the best-handpicked players and then we have Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham and Everton.

It does not come easy for Man City!

Ahead of the start of Premiership, Man City is competing in America in the International Champions Cup and later playing another friendly in Iceland against West Ham United.

After those, preseason compromises Pep Guardiola and his Sky Blues are ready to charge in their Premiership competition and make a decorous stand to deliver the nourishment of this squad every campaign need, trophies.

With league opening against newcomers at old Falmer Stadium against Brighton, Hove and Albion on August 12, then the week after coming home and play Everton and closing the month playing away at Goldsands Stadium to face off AFC Bournemouth.

No science here in my forecast that Manchester City will finish first in Premiership as well it can give us a surprise in Champions League and maybe netting a foursome in trophies, I would not doubt do it from City.
