A big mistake for US soccer if Jurgen Klinsmann leaves

After the English flop in this edition of Euro, this nation FA is looking very intensely to find the right man to lead the Three Lions squad into the grand fete of the World Cup. By having a long list of candidates, it looks like one so far has caught the attention of the English directives, in current Team USA Manager Jürgen Klinsmann.
Still this can be anybody’s, job, as the potential number of candidates total around seventeen, the English FA so far has its hands full.

With a post in an important English tabloid mentioned about the current man at the helm of the USMNT being on talks with the English FA over the open position. It looks like good old Jürgen can be heading to jolly old England, but not so fast, as the former German great is still under contract with US Soccer Federation with a year to go.

Suddenly the attention that Team USA Boss he’s getting, because of his work performed so far with the Stars and Stripes in a span of five years, one seen with excellent results as in the past World Cup CONCACAF qualifiers the USA squad went first. Team USA became so dominant towards its south of the border nemesis Mexico whom this latter one could not beat the US squad for a span of almost four years.

Thanks to Jürgen teachings, the USA has seen much needed improvement in the international level, a fourth place in the past Copa America, however many wanted a much better finish.

Despite many of the adversities lately in USMNT in its results and many asking for the German National resignation and seeking new direction, so far the work performed by him considered as fair but with room for improvement.

If Jürgen decided for the England spot, the list for USMNT Manager is a long one with many suitors that can do the job and especially in its majority Americans and one foreigner.

Three Americans come to mind as SKC Peter Vermes, NYRB Jesse Marsch and PTFC Caleb Porter and Dominic Kinnear of San Jose this being the foreigner.  As once again, the question arises if Klinsmann decides in the last minute to leave the helm of Team USA.

At the end, the United States Soccer Federation aims are to keep their current man at the helm of the Men’s national squad and continue with his work, although for some not liking at times the results, but the Stars and Stripes program in full development.

Something with the continuance of Jürgen Klinsmann at the helm of the USMNT, more positive things will emerge from the German Boss program already in the works and more competitive squads will continue to emerge from his work.

For now Team USA Boss is in need of getting is squad ready for the World Cup qualifiers in its confederation of play and the so called Hexagonal where the best three squads net a direct pass into the grand fete.

As the levels of competition in CONCACAF becoming much contested, the USA Men’s squad needs to be much better and a move described earlier in these stages, considered as catastrophic.

In addition, nothing is official but the talks held by Klinsmann with the English FA are a start but hope that nothing will come out of them and end up as a simple interview, so Jürgen can stay put in his position with the USMNT.
