The dream ends but not the renaissance of Welsh football

Despite the abrupt stop to a nation fairy tale and its dream of its first ever Euro final, finally the Welsh Boys of Chris Coleman saw a crude reality, when they were stopped abruptly by a hardened and inspired Portuguese initial eleven.

Nothing to be ashamed, as the Welsh became the darling squad of this edition of Euro and one that put a whole nation to dream as well starting a renaissance in its football. Alongside its players that have become one of the most looked as well coveted for many squads and leagues.

Finally this tiny nation football- will one to be considered very seriously, despite having its own league and some of its squads fight for Premiership promotion as well many of its players being in various squads of England’s top-notch league.

Despite the Portuguese feat, the Dragons put on a fight and being disabled in the midfield after one of its key men were suspended in Aaron Ramsey and Ben Davis both had to watch the match in the stands. That at the end costed the Welsh their midfield magic and dynamism that at the end Gareth Bale alone could not perform his magic.

Still this is a very fighting squad and for its Manager Chris Coleman a round of applause for his overall achievements in this event and silencing many of its detractors by going all the way to semifinals, that is bravado and achievement. The spirit of the Dragons lived in this group and its initial eleven playing like a big family in the field and giving their nation a reason to dream.

This time there was no heroics from Wales lead man Gareth Bale, being all afternoon long one busy bee passing and shooting in his effort of opening the scoreboard for his squad. Alongside of Robson Bale and King coming close to the posts defended brilliantly by Rui Patricio.

After the Portuguese Manager sent a very tight 4-1-2-1-2, this became lethal for the Welsh after their Boss Coleman organize his attack with a loose but cautious in the backfield 5-3-2 formation that little could do to stopped a very hungry Cristiano Ronaldo.

Before coming to this match many did a sort of duel between these two Real Madrid teammates in Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, giving it a bit of spice and elevated interest to this match.  Something put in the field by both players but only one had his good luck on the side, still both of these were magnificent.

Their unfortunate side of the story was today’s loss end their magnificent run and support not only from their home nation of Wales but the whole world, seeing the Welsh Boys playing like true Dragons!

At the end, this is not the end for the Welsh squad but the beginning of a one of a kid football and many memorable moments like in this Euro, they offered us. Now their next stop is the qualifiers for the World Cup and something this squad is capable of delivering a spot in the grand fete of world football.

Nothing is impossible for this intrepid group and the Dragons along their man at its helm Chris Coleman can do the feat, everything is within this group reach for Welsh Football.
