Let’s hear it from
the Boys from Wales, the Swansea Swans, that after last campaign slip up
they made a positive and strong run in the end- to persevere their oddities
and make a return to the ranks of Premiership.
As the Swans,
suddenly started experiencing some tough times and dropping matches that put their permanency in peril as well of occupying the relegation spots
without any solution or way to end their slump.
By firing what seemed
to be a promising Manager in Garry Monk, the disenchantment of this club top
brass became obvious of letting him go after the poor set of results obtained
in the middle of the campaign.
It is when the Swans front
office decided to make a change for its best and when the club new savior in
Udinese former Boss Italian Francesco Guidolin took over and with a bang, he
guided the Welsh Boys out to salvation.
That was then and now
the Italian Boss will have to sort his squad into a league were all of its competition
have been armed to the teeth to take front of what it looks into another contested
campaign as the ones we are all familiar in the EPL.
With a very hectic schedule
and internal competitions were the Swans three years ago netted a trophy to its
halls at Liberty Stadium, this time will not be an excuse to make an all-around
feat of making an impact in either the FA or Capitol One Cups.
After all the Swans
have been for quite some time in the ranks of Premiership and the sole
representative of the Welsh League squads that can net a direct promotion in this league. As we have known the
Swansea squad considered as one competitive and hardened entity, last campaign almost
lost it all and relegated into Championship.
Not this campaign, as
the Clwb Pêl-droed Dinas Abertawe, has gone
to the extent to reinforce its ranks and with players considered vital to front
this edition of Premiership. As Manager Guidolin will try his best to make a
decent run since the first day of Premiership with his Swans.
The Swansea Boss is preparing
and shaping his squad to front a series of challenges ahead as well by making a series of good performances throughout this upcoming campaign. With his squad in the preseason, so far his squad
has been performing wonders and giving a lot of hope to its fan base of a possible top notch campaign.
Very well the arrival of Leroy Fer from Queens Park
Rangers, Mike Van de Hoorn- Ajax, Tyler Reid- Manchester United, George Byers-
Watford and Mark Birighetti- Newcastle Jets. Will be a big boost to the Swansea
attack and overall game.
So far in the Swans
preseason, one thing the Italian Boss has been observing and putting in his starting
eleven, several young players from this
club academy that have been under his zealous observations. This opens the
prospects of having new blood in the Swans initial eleven and maybe a new star
to make its impact in EPL, maybe before the start of this upcoming campaign, we
can see such a phenom.
Another plus for this club is the new American
based ownership of this club that is a positive and elevates the prospects of
becoming a contender once again with its new blood in the field and in its
front office. Making this squad one dynamic and with the mentality of forging a
winner in the long run.
With the way this club is playing and making
preparations for the start of new campaign when the Swans opener will be away
at Turf Moor against the newly promoted Burnley FC, returning home to Liberty
Stadium to host another promoted squad in Hull City Tigers.
It wont come easy with their third match against
defending champions Leicester City and in September having a home-stand against
Chelsea and Manchester City and an away match at Southampton.
Still the Jacks and its boss Francesco Guidolin
are ready to front any challenge ahead of this campaign and on course to make a
stellar run with his Swans in what will be a very challenging campaign, at the
end, this Swansea squad is poised and ready to make it big.
