All eyes on Leicester City in this edition of Premiership

Last campaign the English Premier League lived one of its fabulous fairy tales, inspiring of feats, after one squad considered as an all-around underdog, and modest of squads, at the end they did the unthinkable. As Leicester City lived one of its most memorable moments since its inception, suddenly the Lancashire squad lifted one of the coveted of shields from one of most difficult and contested leagues in the world.

By lifting the Barclay’s Premier League trophy, after this Lancashire squad showed the world that this league could be for anyone. For Boss Claudio Ranieri doing the unthinkable and in disbelief of winning his first ever trophy in his long managerial career as well taking his squad a year prior to become destined to play in the Championship League.

It was a feat like no other, that many still remember it as something extracted from a Hollywood script or story, as nowadays many journalists whatever squad in the world is doing a marvelous job in league or tournament, they refer it as the Leicester Miracle.
So far, the bookies in England are giving Claudio Rainieri squad 6000 to 1 odds to win the league once again, raising their stakes a bit more, maybe we have another fortunate bloke that will call himself a gambler.

If I meant all eyes on the reigning Premiership champions, you are correct, so far many of this players have been targeted to reinforce many squads as recently the squad lost N’ Golo Kante to London based Chelsea and now their top recruiter Steve Walsh to Everton.

Still for Leicester City are business as usual and its front office already expectant of many offers for several of its players from various clubs in Premiership and leagues abroad.  One that will really hurt for the Foxes the most will their architect of recruitment leaving.

That is the story in football for you, as one Jamie Vardy refused a £20 million offer from Arsenal and stayed put in City along with Ryad Mahrez and other key players that brought the magical run to King Power Stadium. Others leave hole in recruitment for Leicester, but one thing Boss Rainieri he and the squad will prevail.

The Foxes did it but at what cost and how will all eyes be preying on this squad to monitor its performances and the way these will be match per match, maybe we can have a miracle or  a second charm. Very well, many squads looking at Drinkwater, Mahrez, Fuchs, Morgan and Albrighton, these have decided to give it a shoot of a repeat.

Leicester City having a plan B with new faces in Ron- Robert Zieler- Hannover, Luis Hernandez- Sporting Gijon, Raul Uche Rubio- Valencia, Nampalys Mendy- Nice and Ahmed Musa- CSKA Moscow.

So far, City is making all the necessary moves to as well their preseason looking at prospective players as Hamza Choudhury looking a bit ambitious and displaying an excellent game, maybe he can fill the void left by N’ Golo Kante. For sure, City has lots of labor too, despite Choudhury impressive credentials- still the midfield competition left open to these Boys in Drinkwater, Mendy, King, Iner and More.

This will not be the problem as the midfield will see a very heated competition amongst its players, still the Walsh departure can be really felt as a terrible loss, in need at the end for Boss Rainieri will get another rabbit out his hat of tricks and appointment a key player in his place.

For now, the defending champions will have a very tough challenge ahead not only in Premiership side but in Champions League strenuous schedule and the performances this squad will offer intis first ever participation in an event of this magnitude. Not along the internal competitions of the likes of the FA and Capitol One Cups where another miracle may surface for the astute Foxes.

As all the attention and pressure put on the Premier League champions as well, Manager Claudio Ranieri will have his eleven into full overdrive to attempt to repeat as well maybe he can turn it into another joyous fairy tale making it into a treble of a campaign.

They did it before they can do it again, still we do have a very lengthy campaign ahead of us and one of the most competed in this side of the planet, City can do it again!
