Call him the savior
or a modern day rescuer on one of the league most celebrated club, that after experience
a fairy tale of a campaign in its previous edition and being the defending
champions.
After the sacking of Claudio
Rainieri, who guided this club considered as a small entity and going above all
of the so-called giants of Premiership to deliver the glories of this association!
By lifting their first
ever Barclays Shield and making another miracle in nearing the Champions league
finals.
Suddenly everything
started going haywire in league play and despite the good performances in the international
theaters.
As last campaign saw
the departure to Chelsea of one important play maker in N’ Golo Kante and
despite the spending frenzy in millions of pounds, the defending champions did not
had it with them.
However, the club top
brass ordered the substitution of Rainieri to the likes of assistant Craig Shakespeare
to take over the helm of this club and for him to do the impossible, try a
miracle, and save the club.

The response of this
man and by giving his players a vote of confidence and boost in their morale,
Leicester started moving on up the table seeking once again a repeat in the end
with a European finish.
At the end, they came
short but at least finish way above the bottom three spots.
So far in the
preseason the Foxes front office have delivered four chaps to reinforce the
likes of the actual squad, despite the constant rumors and interest from the
likes of Everton and Tottenham of trying to get a hold of Ryad Mahrez services.
Still the interest
for the services of Gylfy Sigurdsson alongside Everton it will not come
delivered in a plate with a hefty price tag for the Iceland native of £ 50
million, the race is on and they will do anything in case Mahrez decides to
leave.
With a full agenda on
the preseason and a series of important matches with the Hong Kong PL trophy to
be played against Liverpool, Crystal Palace and West Brom and coming home to
face off Luton, MK Dons, Wolves, Burton and Borussia Monchengladbach to close
at King Power Stadium.

Opening day nears and
with their first match against Arsenal at Emirates proving a tough outing on
day one of Premiership hostilities, then coming to King Power Stadium to face
off the new Boys in the block Brighton and then to Old Trafford to face off
Manu.
It does not easy for
the Foxes but not difficult as Shakespeare as this chap will have to prove
himself with another amazing run, anything can happen.
