The Cherries ready to a challenged Premiership

No more sorry campaigns for Eddie Howe and his AFC Bournemouth, this time he is looking forward to a stellar and prime time in this upcoming edition of the English Premier League.

I do remember when the Cherries had their first run on Premiership and barely squeezing by, on a not so glamorous sixteenth place finish.

That was enough for the AFC to return to see the lights of the big circuit for another edition.
In addition, the 2106-17 versions, despite their struggles, there was a notable finish and improvement seen in the overall table.

This time manager Eddie Howe is looking forward to seize a spot in the always-coveted European spots or finish among the top four as well seek a trophy or two in the FA and EFL Cups competitions.

Considered as a giant killer in that campaign when the Cherries defeated in back to back fashion the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, this club is not intimidated or steeped over that easily.

For Manager Howe making this squad top brass surrendered good amounts of monies in order to be a competitor in this edition, his outlook is cautious in order to brave in what is going to be another heavily contested campaign.

The arrival of new faces to Dean Court is making many of its followers to think of an extraordinary campaign, were many here in Dorset have bet that their Boys will overcome their last campaign ninth place finish to a higher one.

So far in the preseason of the AFC the news are relevant of many high-class players in Asmir Begovic- Chelsea, Connor Mahoney- Blackburn Rovers, Nathan Ake- Chelsea and Jermaine Defoe- Sunderland.

With Defoe coming as a free agent and no cost to the Cherries, these will have one of the most complete players in the Premier League after being the Talisman of relegated Sunderland and its player to be looking for his club salvation.

For that, Bournemouth has won the Defoe sweepstakes and seen as an all-around coup.

In addition, the arrival of Connor Mahon considered a prospect in the wings alongside with Nathan Ake in defense and Asmir Begovic defending the AFC posts, with these new faces this squad has all the likings of a contender.

A serious one and that can stir all sorts of troubles to the so-called giants of Premiership and make a ruin to the top, you never know, we can have ourselves another fairy tale, the same one Leicester City experienced.

Preparing to a preseason against GA Estoril Praia, Queens Park Rangers, La Liga Valencia FC, Yeovil Town and Napoli, the Cherries hope to be a good tune up and prepares them in full ahead of their Premiership opener.

As August 12, they open on the road at the Hawthorns to face a resilient and fighting West Brom Albion and later return to Dean Court or known as Vitality Stadium.

With back-to-back matches Watford FC as their home opener and later a test of fire against Pep Guardiola Manchester City, these latter one is consider a hell of a game and foe for the Cherries.

As all eyes are on Eddie Howe considered as the next Boss of the English National Team and considered in many circles as a future top class manager, his next check will come on this Premiership campaign.
