For Antonio Conte and
his Chelsea Boys, his task to tackle one tough and enduring challenge in this
edition of the English Premier League, by the looks of it, will not be a walk
in the park.
Considered a sort of mission
impossible, but for Conte experience he can do it, despite its squad cleanup of
several players considered not important for his scheme.
So far in the transfer’s
market things are not going his way and getting the right people to make front
in another disputed edition of England’s top flight.
So far, the top brass
at Stamford Bridge have been wheeling and dealing players to other squads in this
and other leagues, with an exodus totaling seventeen players.
The Pensioners have
dealt players, seen for some squads as a top of the line reinforcements, which
for the Londoners were simple players not considered in Conte’s plan for this
upcoming campaign.
Now they will make an
all-around impact in other entities.
Still the think tanks
at Stamford Bridge have delivered a trio of notable players released with no
delay by their squads as the case of free agent Willy Caballero out of contract
from Manchester City, Antonio Rudiger- AS Roma and Tiemoue Bakayoko- AS Monaco.
As the monies
continue to flow in favor of the Italian and with a budget of more than £ 125
million for his shopping frenzy, his focus is to get players mainly from the Italian
Calcio and France’s La Ligue.
In league circles, these
club directives want a successful defense of their title alongside a significant
performance in Champions League with the possibilities of winning the long
eared shield.
Another notable loss can be of striker Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic were this club can be looking desperately for their replacements and in a big hurry as Eden Hazard will not be available in the opening
matches.
For now, the first
step was to assure the likes of their Italian Boss, Antonio Conte will be in
charge of the Blues affairs for another two years, and looking forward to more success
filled campaigns and return this club to Europe’s elite.
The Italian is
writing a new chapter in Stamford Bridge and looking forward in the next two
years of making an impact with his club as one of the bests in the continent
and elevate its rank in the world.
With a unity-laden squad
and new faces to come, the Chelsea Boys will be once again the squad to beat
and maybe try to catch along with Manu, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and
Tottenham.
All of these titans for
sure will stage one heavily and spectacular campaign in this 2017-18.
The preseasons the
Blues have a match in china at the birds nest stadium against cross-town rivals
Arsenal and later these will meet on the Community Shield on August 6, before
the start of league play.
Other exhibition
friendlies will be against Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in Singapore in the International
Champions Cup, as league play includes matches against Burnley at home, staging
their first London Derby against Tottenham away and closing august play at home
versus Everton.
As last campaign, the
Blues had a significant improvement and despite not having a European
compromise in neither Europa nor Champions Leagues, this campaign will be
another story filled with many challenges.
Still this club will
prevail and will stage a one of a kind campaign in their race to the top touted
as a one of a kind favorite and repeat as league champions and maybe other
shields that can make their way into the halls of Stamford Bridge.
At the end, with or
without the necessary reinforcements or players idealized by Antonio Conte, he
and his Chelsea Blues will prevail and to dominate once again in
this edition of the English Premier League.
