Chris Hughton and his
Gulls are one squad ready to make an impact in this upcoming campaign of Premiership
as well make it a decorous one by making a positive run and be a competitive
entity throughout the whole championship.
So far, the Gulls have
prepared a very ambitious preseason, which includes Fortuna Dusseldorf, Girona
FC, Norwich City and Atletico Madrid to name a few.
This squad is looking
up to become a contender and an all-around fighter throughout the campaign.
Nothing fancy in the transfers
market for the Albion squad, the arrivals of German Pascal GroB- FC Ingolstad 04, Australian
keeper Matthew Ryan- Valencia FC and Scotland native Josh Kerr assigned to their
U-23 squads.
Still with the market
still open, anytime the Hove squad can make a surprise move and netting a big
name to reinforce this squad attack and ranks to make a decent stand in their promotion
to Premiership.
Perseverance pays off
for the Brighton, Hove and Albion bunch after last campaign near promotion, but
that became an experience for them and voila, the next campaign they deliver
and near of edging the Championship trophy.
As the joy of promotion
to the big circuit still is around in the whole of East Sussex and the club
front office for sure they will like to give their supporters the joy of this and
many campaigns to come and many successful ones in Premiership.
After this club
inception 116 years ago, this club has had notable campaigns in the course of its
history, from 1979 to 1983 until its near demise for seeing their old Goldstone
Grounds sold until the ultimate of miracles happened.
A first in this club
history of seeing it rise to the occasion and to the greatest of associations
known as the best in the world, the English Premier League coming to old Falmer
Stadium and now with the moniker of American Express Stadium.
Shaving it very close,
Chris Hughton and his losing the trophy of Champions from England’s First division
known as Championship, that at the end they succumb to the Magpies push, however
these qualified as second best without playing the playoffs to define the third
squad.
Not this time and these
play a one of a kind game of football until the end and the results speak for
this club looking forward to success and an all-around impact in the top
flight.
Something not usual
for squads just promoted as their first campaign lack of productivity ends up
returning them to relegation, but in the case of the Seagulls the heat is on
and their aims are to excel.
Ask that to a
determined manager in former Republic of Ireland defender Chris Hughton, who is
no stranger in managing in the top flight when he led Newcastle United
promotion to Premiership in 2010 and Norwich City finish to 11 in 2012-13
campaign.
Now with Brighton, Hove
and Albion, he has made them a force not to be mess with and making them an impenetrable
squad due to its fortified defense with 47 clean sheets in 111 matches, not
bad.
As defense wins
matches, so will the Brighton Boys continuance in its defensive strength and
force used in their new campaign in the English Premier League, this club will
push on!
