Chris Coleman must see another day at the helm of Wales

A hurtful loss that left the Dragons out of the world’s utmost competition, but the positive result that came after this, is that this squad has been playing a one of a kind football since its participation in this past Euro.

Credit this improvement in its Boss Chris Coleman, after he took over the Wales helm.

This squad has seen a bonus and an upgrade in its game, that has elevated their manager value and awaken a lot of interest in several Premiership teams looking to get a hold of his services.

So close but so far away, as yesterday heartbreaking loss to the Republic of Ireland, was a cruel blow to this man project going in the right direction, but finally seeing unfold with a not so positive reality.

Still the way this man has made a total turnaround for the best in this national squad has already raised a lot of headlines and putting Welsh football in the map for many years to come.

After yesterday’s abrupt ending to their quest of making the playoffs, very well looking so dominant in the course of the whole match it was just a lone goal that made them succumbed to a hardened Republic of Ireland.

After their third place Euro finish after losing to a 2-0 score to this edition champion Portugal, the Dragons did put on a show losing only one match to England and beating Slovakia and Russia to advance to the next rounds.

Ever since the qualifiers before Euro, this squad has been playing against their foes regardless of their status, a top of the line football seeing a new squad that has elevated its status as a competitor.

Not a sorry squad that just was a participant and not even in the years of Ryan Giggs, this squad played a decent football and now look at the way they are performing and with the current squad and new young guns coming, we have a contender.

Still the way this project is to continue seeing its success one more time, is to keep Chris Coleman at the helm of the Dragons and see a continuance of his work to develop this squad into a winner and maybe start planning for the next Euro 2020 and World Cup 2022.

This is in the Wales federation directives decision not so difficult but logical of getting Chris Coleman back to another tenure and start really delivering more positives and elevate this squad and put it among the elite in the world.

For this squad, only international participation in a world competition was in the 1958 World Cup celebrated in Sweden finishing in sixth place and reaching its quarterfinals, this under manager Jimmy Murphy.

Since then Wales has seen a parade of fourteen managers that unsuccessfully could lift this squad level and game, until the arrival of Chris Coleman that really has brought a lot of his optimism and ambition that so far has delivered many positives.

Despite the loss and elimination from World cup competition, this is not over but a start of something big happening in Welsh football with a simple there is always a next time and accompanied with a bright future ahead.

That will up for Coleman, after all he is not getting young but more seasoned as a manager that many of the top owners in the English Premier League or in the big leagues would like to have as their man at the helm.

However, a Chris Coleman return to lead the destinies of the Tîm pêl-droed cenedlaethol Cymru will be a wise move by him and not let go of his blueprint already delivering success and more to come.
