Mark Hughes seeing tough times ahead for his Stoke City bunch

For Mark Hughes Stoke City manager he was looking forward to stop his squad skid and a win today at home in Bet 365 Stadium, the possibilities of a win were within his squad reach.

Still do not count this bunch out as Eddie Howe and his Cherries, despite coming with a four match-losing streak, as I state of that there is no such thing than an easy foe.

With Bournemouth so far in this campaign battling the demons of relegation and situated in a not so comfortable spot in the table in nineteenth place, the opportunity for the Potters of earning three points were within reach.

For AFC manager Eddie Howe, looking forward to stage a miracle of a revival with his Cherries, today match saw his game taking a turn for the best as his calculations and strategies’ finally worked for him.

After he sent a conservative 4-4-1-1 formation to counter his foe Mark Hughes 3-4-3 with three attackers versus Howe, lone striker this match became a war of strategies between these two bosses.

Working wonders for the visitors, as they had the upper hand in the end as the result said it all.
As the first goal coming from the visitors, that opened up the fireworks in the 16 minute with an early goal from a combination from Junior Stanislas to Andrew Surman for the Cherries first goal.

No later as seconds passed a flagrant foul inside the area by Stoke defender and captain Ryan Shawncross over the AFC forward Benik Afobe inside the area for the award from the official of a clear penal that Junior Stanislas converted for the 2-0 in the 18 minute.

After the half the Potter did improve their game and defiantly crossed the Bournemouth defense with no problem and constant arrivals to the area and posts defended by Asmir Begovic putting is best efforts to stop the locals revival.

Give an A for effort to the likes of the Potters after knocking in Begovic posts, from Glen Johnson, Ryan Shawncross and Mame Diouf, the locals rally did not went in vain after a one tow combination from  Eric Maxim Choupo- Moting to Mame Biram Diouf score in the 63.

At the end, the Cherries persevere and despite the dangers their backfield was expose, these overcome the difficulties at the end raise their arms and stop their losing streak and now focus to better results.

Despite the league not over Eddie Howe sees this win as a shoot in the arm of optimism for him and his squad looking forward to salvage their campaign and todays win still they are within a point of Stoke City.

For Mark Hughes this loss and the position his squad is in, the faithful in Bet 365 Stadium are growing restless as well the front office that can put his future in a dire situation if he does not deliver in the upcoming matches.

Mark Hughes, continuance of odd results will make him a sure target of dismissal as he joins a not so elite group of managers right now being in danger of losing their jobs, if the Potters campaign is leveled; the future looks a bit gloomy for the Welsh.
